    I have currently accumulated just over 80 hours on Heart Gold (mainly due to grinding in preparation for Kanto). I'll probably put in another 20 or so hours just catching all the Pokemon.

    Akiyo is spot on. I see certain Pokemon as certain genders. I see Groudon as Male and Kyogre as Female. I see Ninetails as Female and Arcanine as Male. Its annoying I know but I don't feel happy with a team unless I think the genders suit the Pokemon.

    Scyther + Bug Catching Contest = NIGHTMARE Is it TOO much to ask to be able to catch a MALE Scyther in the Bug Catching Contest? Seriously. All I can find are females and I can't be bothered to breed with my Ditto in order to get one.

    The Official Shiny Thread

    Just this morning on the bus to college I caught a shiny Haunter AND a shiny Magikarp (I'll evolve it into a Gyarados of course). That now makes a total of 34 shinys caught (Not shiny Pokemon that i caught then evolved, all 34 Pokemon were caught seperately).

    WRRRONG!!! his plans dont involve giratina, he plans to use dialga and palkia to create his new galaxy but giratina appears in order to stop him, also, i heard that cyrus can be battled again in the battle tower after youve completed the sinnoh dex, its probably just a rumour though

    shinys.....a lotta hard work I've been trying to get shinys the hard way at the moment, i save before i fight a legendary and keep on resetting and fighting them again until theyre shiny. So far i have a shiny groudon on ruby, a shiny mewtwo on leaf green, shiny zapdos and articuno on fire red...
