Good for you man. Choose the path that you want to go down, let you live the life you want to live. Sometime's it's important to take a stand for yourself and not let others dictate how you act, which I think you've done a good job doing personally.

Hey my man, there's nothing wrong with that decision. Honestly. You were in Pharmacy before right? (I'm basing this by looking at our past conversation.) Pharmacy is brutal. It's across the board difficult. When I was a Nursing student, I almost practically failed that class, it's extremely difficult.

Like I said, I used to be a Nursing student but I dropped out of the major because I wasn't happy with it. I was constantly stressed out with a profession that I had lost a lot of interest and drive to pursue. Took some time to reevaluate what I wanted to do with my life - I'm now in Education, looking to become a Kindergarten teacher - and I couldn't be happier. The most important thing you can do in life is to take care of yourself and do what will make you happy. I don't know if you get pressure from others in your life, but just care about what will make you the most happy cause you've only got one life yo (ya ya yolo whatevs lol.)

That must be awesome to get that private tutoring gig, I'm really happy for you (: are you happy where you are now?
