Hello Shawn,
Let the clash of the titans commence!
It looks like the hour of the Dragon has come at last. At least it is in my part of the world. Happy Birthday my winged comrade! Can't imagine a world without you in it. Where do the accolades begin? Shawn is talented, Shawn is kind and good, fun and full of imagination, great storyteller, enthralling, awesome friend, loves kids, interesting, unique, intelligent, wise and mature, the rock and pillar of pokecommuity, great worker, funny, a great trainer, teacher, mentor and an attractive fellow-- I've seen the pictures. You have eyes that look so honest and this smile! I say this as a a girl who was literally born in the year of the dragon, you have a mighty soul, worthy of the mantle of Dragon. I am proud to join your clan.
Will this picture of us as brother and sister do?

We have prepared a feast for you worthy of dragons! Dragons eat the food of the immortals.
[SPOILER]
Have you ever heard of ameizaku, the candy sculpture art? I recently discovered this ancient art form and fell in love. I thought these were pieces of murano glass. You deserve a dragon-shaped ameizaku.
Its still hard for me to grasp that the golden dragon in the child's hand really is only lollipop.
[SPOILER]
This video I think really makes it come to life.

So let's sit back and eat castelia cones, pokepuffs and ameizaku in honor of the dragon's day!! :D
I'm pretty intrigued about Detective Conan and Katanagatari since you give them both a dragon's claw up. I haven't watched either one, and I always love something new!
My favorite anime is Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo. Its such a feast for the eyes. Full of innovative and imaginative world building.

Retelling history, classic films and works of literature are some of my favorite mangaa and animes. I'm currently reading Requiem for the Rose King, a dark supernatural retelling of the war of the roses with yokai.
I feel encouraged that you liked the concept of my fanfic. Maybe that is the first one I will send you then? I've been thinking of publishing it here on pokecommunity, especially since a dear friend of mine LilyGardy is writing a story from the perspective of a young lady in Team Magma. She's said they could work as companion stories.
I've been rather shy, and not shown it to anyone on PC, just talked about it. Bur with a nudge of your wing I think I can. I've got some chapters ready for peer editing. I'll save them until you are comfortable sharing some of your treasure with me. We wil let our stories exchange hands, or claws if you will ^_^
My priestess' name is Dylan. Water is everything to Team Aqua so I wanted a name that emodied that. I picked Dylan because it is sometimes translated as "born near the sea" and is the name of the Welsh sea god. i also liked the that this was a unisex name. Archie is such a masculine and brawny chap that I could easily see him picking a name for a girl that could also be used for a boy.
Great mask!! Its brilliant!! Wow, your mystery tale of thief Kitsune left me spell bound, and did the photograph of the mask. I happen to also love historical settings like the fuedal era. These were times of such spectacle yet also danger, and shrouded in mystery. I love journeying to another world.
This sounds like a great backstory, and the Bell and Brass Towers of Johto have such rich legends behind them just waiting to be explored. One of the things I really love about Pokemon and have a real appreciation for as an adult player is the carefully thought out folklore behind the Pokemon world. Those who think Pokemon is for kids or is shallow story haven't looked deep enough into the origins of the Pokemon world.
Using the Seven Deadly Sins is also really cool. Have you ever seen a movie called Se7en with actors Morgan Freeman-- who is a big favorite of mine, Brad Pitt and Kevin Spacey? Its about catching a brilliant serial killer who is murdering victims that he feels embody the seven deadly sins of the medieval era. Its rather violent at times for my soft personality like Game of Thrones, but really has subtle character and good acting.
Man, soul food. This is really taking me back to my grandmother's kitchen. I live in a Southern state right now so Soul food is pretty popular. Even though my diet has changed a lot, I can always go for a little fried okra. My aunt and uncle have invited me to the French Quarters of New Orleans this summer, among many things like the music and architecture, I'm curious to experience authentic Cajun cuisine.
I'd never forget our dragons creed my brother. Would you mind if I call you Sunny sometime? I think it could be a code between to dragons. I'm honored also if a remind you of an old friend of yours who was a Milotic? I'd love to know his or her name. If ita not too intrusive or personal, maybe I could use that nickname sometimes. But only if it it feels right for you.
I'm really happy to know you Shawn. I hope you had an amazing birthday with lots of fun and games, frivolity here with your friends. And a scrumptious meal, neat presents and closeness with your family.
*hug*
-Sam
P.S If you still want to trade I've got marvel scale, extreme speed dratini and shiny mawile. They're safely stored in my PC. They might make good presents for you.
