FTE really isn't that hard to play. I'll explain your current situation. You started the game at G14 or one of the squares on the grid like map. Your character has a movement of 6 so your character can move up, down, left or right a total of six times before you decide to take an action or do nothing. In Round 1, I had your character move left three squares to D14 and then up two squares to D16 to use Rock Smash on an Alolan Rattata(which you did x4 Damage since it's a Normal/Dark Type). With Susato's help via Helping Hand, you OHKO'd the Alolan Rattata.
At the opening of Round 2, Lycan added new foes to the field. One of them happens to be a Tyrunt(Rock/Dragon) at C19. Since you're presently at D16, you're in prime position to attack Tyrunt by moving one square to the left(C16) and then two squares up to C18 to Attack Tyrunt with your Force Palm Move. Alternatively you could use Rock Smash but you won't have Susato's Helping Hand boost this round so I figure going with the stronger Fighting move is the best course of action.
If you go to th CSS map Lycan has here: FTE map and click on your character, it'll bring up your character's profile detailing its movement, current HP and status and what moves your character has. All of your moves, save for Quick Attack, require that you be one square away from the target if you want to attack. Quick Attack is the lone exception being a Rn1-2 move, meaning that you could attack Tyrunt from C17 with that move(which wouldn't be advised since Rock resists Normal Type moves). I encourage you to keep playing and to at least give the game a try. Outside of Lily, Epilogue and myself, pretty much the entire group has gone quiet during the past week or so. I know it's the Holiday season but still... kind of disheartening if I were in Lycan's shoes.
