Yeah I always found organic chem really boring haha, there's only so many ways you can look at different types of carbon before you want to shoot yourself in the face XD Sounds like you're more of a physical chemist, hopefully you find the lab experiments cool since that's what you'll be doing most of :D I plan to do my PhD at the same uni I'm in now haha - easier and I work quite closely with one of the professors here already. Are you planning to do one?

Neither of those first 2 work for me (work), and I can't guarantee I'll be awake for the 3rd one... I don't get home until 1:30 AM your time on weekdays, and I usually roll out of bed in the mornings with only 15 minutes to get out the door to my car and head to work (which is at somewhere around 3:30 PM for you).

Would an hour earlier than your proposed time on Saturday work for you? I'm far more likely to still be up at 1 AM my time than 2 AM my time. I know that's 9 AM for you, though.

I just got bored and couldn't decide on a decent placeholder, hahahaha.

I'm pretty sure my new theme is gonna be based on Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL, but who knows if I end up changing my mind. xD And cool, do you have any plans so far on what you might base your theme on?

Any idea what you actually plan to specialise in yet? Thermodynamics is ok, I prefer the kinetics side of it but thermodynamics is more useful so can't really argue with learning it at least XD What is your favourite topic right now? I'll probably be doing a PhD after graduating Masters so a few more years to get yet haha.

Oh wow, really? I had no idea :o I'm doing a general chemistry Masters so we do organic, inorganic, physical & analytical, but first exam is physical so right now I'm studying mostly for that. Yesterday was colloids/liquid crystals and today I'm starting on quantum mechanics but it's soooo boring, I really don't like the physical side of chemistry much. I've been doing a research project on using liquid crystals (amphiphile molecules that adapt certain structures in solution) as self-assembling templates so you can deposit metals into them and create nanostructured films with huge internal surface areas and I find that incredibly cool - next year is my final year (4 year course) and I'll be aiming to take that research further and look at the films produced and try to work out how to fine-tune the specific internal structures as accurately as possible... In general I like inorganic chemistry a lot but organic is too repetitive! What year of study are you in/what have you been studying?

Do you read often? Haha I know the random lines thing too well, that's where all of my doodles start too. They never turn out well though :( I might try doing some Pokéname drawings soon but I can promise they'll be 500x worse than everyone else's :D
