Hi Mana, first of all, thanks a whole lot for locking the Thread in my absence, things were really getting out of hand, as I can see now, something I never wanted, but unfortunately it did happen, mainly coz I wasn't around & neither was Revise.

Yep, pretty much anything will do haha. Ideally I'd like something non-pharmaceutical but that's really the only branch of research I wouldn't be interested in. I'm mostly interested in conservation and ecology so it's a bit of a strange fit having studied chemistry but basically I was told that it'd be a good course to get into those jobs so... yeah, learned that I should research this stuff myself before doing it paha. And yep, Reading still but staying back in Swindon for a month or two now until the job search is over :)

Ah congrats, very happy for you! Have you secured a full-time teaching job now or are you still in the training years? I'll assume the former if you're buying a house but can't hurt to check! And more importantly, what're the wild Pokémon around there like!?

Ooo nice, still around Reading or did you end up sticking to Cardiff (I think?)? And still with the boyfriend? Big congrats on the house and job, that has to feel like you're pretty sorted now. Glad to hear everything is going so well!

Right now I'm mostly just job hunting - applying to a lot of different places, largely a lot of labs or research companies so hopefully I'll hear something soon. I finally graduated a couple of weeks ago so it's been nice having some time to sit back and relax now after all that stress is finished with haha. Ended up with a 2:1 Masters in Chemistry with hons so pretty pleased with how it went but very glad to be done now!
