Different bloke different strokes. Once Shu Takumi left the main Ace Attorney franchise, things have started to go too eccentric! Meaning that includes the two Ace Attorney Investigation, which is quite ironic for me to say, as I love Miles Edgeworth the most among the cast.

I've only played the Investigations spinoff and the first four games. I'm not too happy with the character designs on AA5.

I think that's a bit oversimplifying things, but it is certainly true that those who are good at writing usually aren't at math. I do think though that I can think logically and creatively - not being able to juggle numbers doesn't necessarily mean that you don't think with a kind of logic. Of course, in my case as well, I have a certain disorder that makes math very difficult.

Yeah, I've seen those dark themes. But they just seemed like odd random moments. In fact, the whole game is just basically one odd moment after the other, as if it's intentionally trying to shock you.

Oh, I agree completely with this. Games don't have to be movies. I prefer less fancy 3D graphics, because I find them more charming and full of personality. That whole blockbuster feel kind of repels me because of how generic and over the top it is. Things keep escalating, getting more and more hype, and I have become very desensitized to it.

To be honest Phione's unfortunate, I mean just look at its stats. It doesn't even get Tail Glow and I believe it isn't allowed in LC either... That poor child is stuck somewhere.

Empoleon has a good typing, tbrh. But ugh that Speed and it was only great as a special based defensive Pokemon! Moreover popular moves like EQ and Close Combat end it fast, in other words it needs more Def. Otherwise Empoleon's gonna further fall from its throne like Napoleon.

I love Pokemon and like over 700 Pokemon, with the exception of the following: Swalot, Exploud, Seismitoad and Simipour, which I found all disgusting. Otherwise, I'd love all the Pokemon to get fair and equal treatment. (:

I can agree that people would have natural traits that would allow them to pick up on things easily. Whether or not this is my natural talent though, I can't really say. But I'm of the mind that most people just don't try hard enough to write as well. They don't think about the things they communicate, and how they're communicated. I just try hard naturally with most things I do, although there are some I'll never pick up... (math...)

That's pretty much how I felt about that game. The childishness was... jarring. It did feel like playing something that was designed for a pre-schoolar at times, and the music was just this random noise for the most part.

I hope they do remake it, but it probably won't be for a long time. FF7 seems to have most of their attentions distracted. What do you mean by "cinematic game"?

Ah, so that explains the phone vibe. I can understand what you've said about FF6 and the whole stage feeling not quite replicatable in 3D, but I really did enjoy the presentation of FF4 on the DS, and I think... if they imitated those tiny chibi sprites, they could figure out a way to retain the quirkiness. But nothing like the Super Hyper Realistic Graphics they use nowadays though. Those get tiring.

That sums up NPCs nicely. They usually don't have much of worth to say.

I'm not sure if Volbeat is allowed in LC (seems like all LC Pokemon are limited to those with evolutions?). But if the firefly is allowed, he might make it big. (:

They are so much fun yes! I remember getting to the end of Act 2 or whatitwas with WV: Ascend. And it blew my mind, and that was when I was completely hooked.

Just wait for Act 5 Act 2 <3 but Act 4 is my second favorite.

I do. I played Earthbound and it was an interesting unique game, but definitely not my favorite. At the very least though, the graphics were more colorful than what I've seen of Undertale.

Personally, I dislike the FF4 PSP graphics. I think they look kind of like a bad phone game. But in general, I'm not too partial to sprites. I prefer 3D models all the way. They can be a legitimate form of presentation and not just be used for third dimension gameplay.

And yeah, I do. Although sometimes I get impatient and just want to move on already, because in my years of playing, I've found NPCs kind of say the same boring stuff.

But thanks. -blushes- I recall that part, since everyone has been saying Volbeat's only use is its access over Tail Glow, but even after the Gen V upgrade on the said move, Volbeat still has a low usability due to many reasons like stats, limited movepool and perhaps uninspiring design as well.

One of the few slow ones that can beat up Manaphy are those tank or those who inflicted Manaphy with Toxic, right? (: My Roserade who's now on a lower tier is able to kill Manaphy too, much to my surprise.

Stat alterations like +100 each on its Speed and S. A? Probably a No Guard Ability to maximize its use on Heat Wave/Fire Blast, Hypnosis, Will-o-wisp, Fire Spin, Overheat, Inferno and other low accuracy unimportant moves. Or a Shadow Tag to slowly torture the foe. -giggles-

So Spike is preferred over Toxic Spikes (in OU and lower tiers), huh? Is it because of the Poison-type Pokemon's ability to absorb the toxic spikes and other floating/flying Pokemon?
