  • I actually started with Foundation, then Foundation and Empire, Second Foundation,, Foundation's Edge, and now I'm reading Foundation and Earth. I haven't read Prelude or the other prequel, Forward the Foundation. Reason being that I didn't have those books until after I read the first trilogy.

Then there are the many other stories/books written by other authors that fit in with the Foundation series.
Well, that'll be good then :) I'll look forward to reading it. My fic is currently on hold until I casn force myself to want to write it again. I guess I'm not up to writing an original fic yet. I've got a new one though, not Pokemon though. It's a Twilight one. (I'm a devoted Twilighter :P).

I did that for BotA but it wasn't that good. You should show yours though.
Fine, thanks for asking. I think I failed Science though :P Oh well, no matter.

    Yeah. How's NG coming along?
You said CSS help on your sig, so I went ahead and gave you that score.

Long story, but it involves not so much the language itself, but the people who want to learn it.
Well yes, five months maybe. But during the period Oct→Nov so far, you made something like 3 out of 5 bold topics. And that covers a lot.

    :P of course.
Hey, now that The Lounge has seen some action (what with Citrinin and all that), I have perfomed some major updates to the BTI.

I appreciate that you appreciate the trivia. I think, also, that the BTI shouldn't be stickied. It could go recommended in the rules thread, tho, as a pointer, but that I will suggest only once the index is a bit more complete (eg.: all of 2008 and 2009 which shiuld amount to ~40%).

    Again, much thanks.

Also, I wanted you to know, AFAIK, you are 2009's Top Bold Topic Creator. Now, whether you feel proud or something... :P
Yep, middle ages. My setting of choice, it seems. XD And I would love to publish it, but that's a dream for waaaaaay down the road.

As for Threads...I don't know why, but this story just felt special ever since I thought up her character. The plot has that timeless classic feel, I think: it's not too dark or hard to read, but it still addresses some difficult issues like dealing with death and separation and hatred and loneliness. And there Threads is at the center of it all with her tireless spirit, tying everything together (pardon the pun). Actually, no, don't pardon the pun. That really is what she does: she ties everything together. It is called The Village Dragon, after all.

Anyways, thanks a ton for reading, and I'm happy that you liked it so much. It helps reaffirm my initial thoughts that this really has potential.
You know, it really just depends. If I get my rear in gear during the weekends, I can pull it off. I've got 17 days to do around 47,000 words, which is a bit over 2,500 words a day. So it's not likely, but possible.

Anyway, today I have to study for a math quiz, and then go to school for four hours, and then go play D&D for five, so I probably won't get much done.

By the by, I have the first chapter up on my NaNoWriMo page, if you want to read it.
I was under the impression yours fell under the rules? You'll have to remove them if you claimed a character other than you had claimed in the old thread, but if you claimed them in the old thread you're okay reclaiming them now.
The same Adam from the Sixth Day in the Bible? His sons (whose names were translated as Cain and Abel) had a similar situation, but less to do with women and more to do with laziness.
God's nature as being selective kinda puts me off, personally. Guiding who He wants to guide, But if He leads someone away, nothing can reach them. Isn't one of the goals to convert others? Excluding even one person would reveal that God is being selective. You know the Quran better than I do. Ideas?
Heh, thanks. Better late than never I suppose. =P

Hard but I think I did decently...won't find out for ages though.
I've been good. Got class later today, though:/

No, I'm not really 84 XD I won't say my real age, but I will say I'm older than most of the others here...
    So true.

Writing is such a wonderful art, to be able to control your own universe is one of the greatest feelings there is.
