  • Whoops, I accidentally rejected your friend request because I didn't recognize the name.

Seriously, what is it with people changing their aliases all of the sudden?
Ok kool I'll read it right away. And why did you change your user name? Neo Groundon was a kick-@$$ name.
The reason why it's not there is because I haven't sent it yet. I know I'm late, but it'll be there soon. I'm just going back over the notes.
Hi Neo Groudon. I know you were already recommended AxCrypt to encrypt your files but since I promised I'd drop you a hint here it is.

TryeCrypt is the encription software I use. It differs from AxCrypt in that with TC you create an "encrypted volume" where you store your files. Like a ZIP file, but instead of compressed, files are encrypted. When you move files into the container they're encrypted automatically, when you move them out they're decrypted automatically.

What I do wit this software is create a small container (128 or 256 M) inside my flash drive and associate another file that *can not be changed*, such as an MP3 or a family picture, as encryption key, so as long as that key file exists you can use the container.

Hope it helps somewhat. If you decide to try it (or AxCrypt instead) and feel you need some help, don't hesitate to Google drop me a line.

    See ya.
(I'm answering your question from the FFL in VM form so as not to derail the thread into software discussions)

While I'm sure there are probably some minor bugs with AxCrypt, you get that with virtually every piece of software. From about six months of personal experience, I can say that it doesn't have any kind of malware or major bugs in it.
It's not being betaed atm, but it can be, I am still in the process of writing it (it was only really the prologue so far after all XD) But chapter one I think will involve a portion in the past, as well as Ash and co, in present time.
