Given how many times Team Rocket has 'blasted off', it could be that, due to the presence of Pokemon, humans have evolved to be incredibly resilient; quickly recovering from all but the most serious of wounds and illnesses. Just a thought, I'm sure there's lots of evidence against this XD

The only time I ever hear the radio is if I'm getting a lift somewhere and the driver puts it on. Even then it'll only for be a few of minutes, if the journey is any longer I'd have my MP3 player with me.
