Mmm, sorry to bug you again, but I was wondering what your stance on transformation fiction is? I have a short spook fic I'm writing about a monster that turns its victims into wooden puppets. The transformation part is a little grotesque, though. Should I keep it toned down a bit? It doesn't need heavy description, but I don't want it to sound to gory.

Wait, is vm and pm the same thing?

I like it, but that would be a loooot of participants we would have trouble getting. Trying to attain 20 people plus enough challengers would be very difficult. I think we'd be better off just having about 3 or so substitutes that can replace anyone when needed.

I'm thinking about doing a league/clan hybrid that involves two teams of 4-5 Gym Leaders. Members outside of the league can challenge one or other and attempt to beat one or both. Could play around with this and base the two teams on light and dark, fire and ice, or whatever. As a side activity for league members, both teams can face off against each other from time to time in what would traditionally be called a "clan war." In a sense, there would be a friendly rivalry between the two by attempting to outdo the other (see: preventing as many challengers as they can from succeeding, winning clan wars, and so on). It's either that, or a simple league like the one that was suggested. Personally, I think incorporating clan aspects would make it a lot more interesting.

Yeah, the face of the series/progantist/heroine shouldn't be the perfect, almighty, powerful individual in the series. I noticed everyone loves an underdog much more than the dominator, if I worded that correctly. That's what my friends do to their characters, they actually implement themselves into the series but one of them is actually wanting to be "God" pretty much, while the other, who is a pretty smart with this stuff, rather be an underdog/batman kind of person. I do the same thing with the protagonist in my series, picture myself as him, or consider him as an alter ego. x) The way I'm doing my series, is exactly how Supernatural does it. There are two main characters, with other main characters but doesn't appear in every episode, comes and go depending on where the series is heading, etc. Yes, I love supernatural stuff, so there's a lot of that sci fi stuff involved in my story as well.

How was the experience of directing?

Yeah, at the same time, I have relatives & best friends who are making stories of their own as well. The problem is, they all want me to be apart of their little gig. I wouldn't mind joining, but they don't keep me up to tab on what the plot is, what/who they are looking for, etc. Otherwise, I rather just stick with what I'm making on my own & make progress in MY series instead haha. I know, group/team effort is important, but I just don't believe what my friends are working on is giving it much effort as they think they are. Hence, that they'll just drop it & move on. Ya know? I don't like starting what will dropped in the future.

Oh, sounds like you're doing something you love doing. I actually type up something also, but its more of a TV series thing I want to do. I would love to be a producer/director for film/TV & acting too, of course but that's only optional lol I had work done on it, saved onto one of my USB drives. I had it in one of my 360 cases that I forgot to take it out of. The people at Gamestop didn't even tell me it was in there when I sold it. I completely forgot about it -_- So I had to start from scratch again. I have a bunch of USB drives too, so no worries on that. I'm nowhere near where I was before now. Which stinks. lol Though I have been able to add some changes along the way doing so.
