Just a medical scan, basically seeing if there's anything wrong with my insides! Got the results an hour ago and no serious things found!! whew ;__;' I couldn't even find any time to relax or listen to music, all I was thinking about was the worst case scenario. x.x

The clubhouse is a small little forum but tight-knit and a lot of fun. Even if it's not the most fast-paced, we enjoy our time there<3

Marlo is actually the best, he is amazing. I hope you're able to scan him into your town at some point. Feel like it's quite difficult to think of what to do since there's so many options. Flowers are always very pretty to look at. I think in New Leaf I had that ordinance where the villagers would plant for you and it made things a lot nicer than whatever was going on with my placement of random attractions :D

It'll always be there so no rush to force yourself into it. Any other new things you've been trying to get into? Can be daunting for sure to jump into something new but hopefully over time things are more comfortable.

Oh yeah I've heard Hollow Knight is super difficult - how has it been going since last VM? One genre I definitely would not get far in is those rogue like Binding of Isaac where you restart when you die, I would never make it past the beginning

It never occurred to me that WWE was theatrical, I always assumed it was real but I also have never watched a proper match. Still looks very fun to watch based on the video. Meeting a celebrity would be cool if it's someone you respected. I've never directly spoken to a celebrity but I'm happy with just buying tickets to see concerts/shows. I've been buying tickets more these days which has been a bit of a dent to the wallet but I figure the experience will be fun and there's always time to earn it back :D

One of those afternoons where I'm getting random anxiety chest pains. Sigh. T_T I took ashwagandha stress relief supplements for a month and wanted to take a month break since it's not good to take them for many months at a time, and that break should end early August. I suppose my own nostalgia is what makes me so fond of the 2015 - 2016 era of Trivia, but the mods at that time had an extraordinary skill for bringing people together, and so a close-knit community was quickly built, where all those inside jokes of Sandshew, poisoned ice cream, hugging Slugma etc originated! Most of those regulars no longer visit the forums now, but they really helped establish Trivia's friendly, chill, community spirit that it has today. ^^ With members like you and the others keeping it alive, it practically runs itself! Because of that I definitely want to create something memorable for everyone before I (eventually!) retire.

As for organising events, there may be changes this year that I'm not yet aware of, but overall it works like this: members pitch an idea in the specified thread once it becomes available, either as a suggestion, or offering to host it themselves. They can also co-host it with someone if they wish. If they host, they get the Event Organiser role, and they'll usually have a few weeks to set everything up before the GT starts, with help from the GT Management. Then it's up to the host to keep the event running during the GT. You might have seen Who's That Pokémon and Spot the Difference hosted last year, though it's easy to miss, since the threads go into a dedicated GT section and not in Trivia, or anywhere else. Also, events don't need to be extensive or long! Even single-day events can be quite popular. And I know what you mean, I feel the same way about Discord overall. Love the community it has established, lots of friendly members like Aslan who are very welcoming! But I also suffer social anxiety, quite bad actually, especially in new situations/groups of people, so I mostly use Discord just to keep in touch with a few old contacts. ^^ I also find it quite difficult to join in when there isn't a conversation I can be part of, since most of it is small talk and banter!

That's why I like house shows, the matches are often spectacular! I watched Miz vs Bryan in what can only be described as a 5 star match at a house show, then when they had a feud on TV after that, it wasn't so good unfortunately.

My loss of hyperfocus for PC hit me hard yet again and I've struggled to come back to this site to post like I normally do. Even the community aspect of this place, which I thought would keep me around forever, doesn't work. It sucks.

Noctowl was soo bad. I really did try to use it in HeartGold, truly did, but it was so bad I deposited it by the time I got to the lighthouse. Ledian is absolutely unbearable too. I get that not every Pokémon should be strong and on equal level to each other because animals are not like that, but it's still a video game and everything should at least be usable without being a massive struggle.

Tech has really grown. I can't believe that just 10 yrs ago it wasn't normal to have a smartphone, I had this phone back then I think... typing was SO difficult. And pretty sure I couldn't even use the internet. That was normal too!!

Not egotistical at all! I definitely get what you mean, and I've been wanting to leave my mark on the Trivia section in much the same way, with a game or event that people can remember fondly, something that brings people together. Revise, Squirrel and Lycanthropy were all very good at this. It's tricky because my ideas are more oriented to a 2015/2016 audience when Pokémon Trivia was thriving under their modship. We're still trying to find a nice compromise that suits committed long-term members as well as people who come-and-go for a bit of fun!

The Get-Together is normally held around this time of year, but staff have decided to push it to October, both due to time constraints and so we can combine it with celebrating PC's anniversary. :D Event organisers representing Trivia are always welcome, if you're interested!

Also that is very heart-warming to know the section and the forums as a whole have left such a positive impact on you! 10,000 posts is a great milestone to reach. I hope to get there, too. ^ ^

I am surprised that thread of yours didn't receive much discussion, it really is an interesting topic, and relevant to everyday life. I think that's where I come unstuck, too. Most of our memberbase has become used to the fast-paced appeal of Discord and other media platforms, and so there is less incentive to open a thread, think on a response and take the time to write it out. This applies to forum games as well, certainly. It's hard to hold people's attention nowadays!

No pressure to jump into the Discord now or at any point to be honest. Have made friends in the past through VMs alone and they're just as valuable. Most people on PC enjoy having convos with new people so don't feel like it's odd randomly reaching out to people you want to get to know. I've had fun chatting!

I hadn't heard of Subnautica before but looked up screenshots of gameplay. Does gameplay stay in first person POV? Feel like that would make it quite immersive but also add to the terror that you're there in the deep ocean.

Those are all awesome, I am a big fan of Sunshine Airport and Electrodome too. Yeah seems like the DLC will take ages to roll out but hopefully will be worth the wait! Not sure if they ever leaked what other courses would be in the DLC but I am keeping my fingers crossed that they bring back DK Snowboard Cross.

Wouldn't surprise me I think a few people on PC play it! I probably don't do a great job at explaining it but has a farming system, combat, characters you can marry etc. I've never played a game in the series either until now but has been fun!

Yeah, I wonder that too. I wonder if in the future the internet itself will also be a relic, and people will instead have VR or something like that which makes plain old internet look like a fossil. It honestly makes me sad knowing I won't be around to see it.. assuming humanity even survives that long with global warming and other things corporations keep doing to ruin the planet. ><
