My uncle was attempting on Christmas Eve to mix some drinks. Printed off some instructions online and then didn't really follow them at all. Just what goes into them, but not how much of each. One thing was super, super sweet. Way too sweet. And then this other drink was like an ultra strong lemoncello type thing. Could singe your eyebrows right off lol
Yeah, I did the Distillery District market just before the break like I told you earlier. Really nice evening out with the lights and the old buildings. On NYE, kinda just drove around the nice bits of downtown where the rich people hang out lol Looking at the lights. Overall though that whole week was very wet and rainy and dreary, no very Christmassy feeling
Fireworks sounds fun though. They did fireworks and ice skating at city hall here which sounded nice.
Don't get me started on sweets lol I had my own haul of chocolate stuff I picked up from Soma right before Christmas (lovely dark chocolate with some sea salt, and a mayan hot cocoa mix) and then I got tonne of chocolate for Christmas. Stocking stuffers from parents was a bunch of hot chocolate mixes and chocolate (nothing fancy, just Russell Stover). And then some small chocolate from other relatives who felt kinda bad about our "no gifts" arrangement. Way too much chocolate
I'm thinking about doing... something. Not necessarily a gym (maybe a trampoline place?), and not now in January when it's busy with people who will give up in a couple weeks. Just want to do something out of the house and active, but not necessarily fitness. But I don't know what. I think winter is getting to me. It has been a bitterly cold week here :( Feeling cooped up
Oh, judging by the title that's a food blog? To match your food twitter? (Oh, by the way. I have you on Twitter now, both accounts. Please follow me back if you're interested :)) I'll be sure to check it out. Your food pics here on PC are always so good!
Not a blog, but I'm writing for these guys now if you're interested

No gifts of mine got lost, but I ordered some stuff on Boxing Day that was a pain. Got an email later that week saying they weren't going to honour my order. Oh, co-worker at work got me this. I have no use for it, but I thought that was a real nice gesture.
And work is good. Busy. New year, so clients feel the need to reinvent themselves and freshen up their sites. We have to maintain a blog for work too, to generate traffic on our site. Spent most of this weekend working on my next entry :(
