Had some trouble with moving to a new state and bursts of worsening epilepsy those few years, but Ive been seizure free on meds for 2 years this month now so Im doing absolutely brilliant ??????

It's significant knowing that I have a friend with a similar experience behind her, and that we can support eachother in the dark hours. I have been very fortunate and blessed, and have soon good news, my mom is home with me now. She had surgery, but slowly her health is improving. We still have medical issues in this home, and there will be other tests, but so far things are looking up. I not only have my mom home for Christmas, but got her back in time for Thanksgiving. I feel quite positive right now.

Same, I didn't read the book until I was about 17...it was just a little beyond me at the time. I enjoyed both although they do feel kinda separate given how much more detailed the book is.
