I haven't gamed a lot lately. I've been playing Pokémon Conquest for a bit as well as Pokémon Gaia. Conquest is a bit PMD-ish you know, it also has the grid. It's less fun than Mystery Dungeon though...

A Hoothoot! I've had the same Hoothoot in my Pokewalker since November 2012! It's one reason why I'm not looking forward to resetting my HeartGold game, since it will be weird to not have that specific Hoothoot with me.

I thought about doing a Nuzlocke challenge through each game, but I'm playing Yellow in Japanese, so it'll be difficult for me to know right away what's happening in battle. I think playing the game in a language I can't fully read is challenge enough!

I know my HeartGold playthrough will be a mono-Normal challenge, Black will be a Nuzlocke, and I might do a Nuzlocke through Ruby or Emerald.

Why dont you just transfer it or trade it somewhere? Im lpanning to transfer all games' main teams to the newest gens, it should save your hoothoot!

Also, what is your team and their levels in PMD? Post Dialga game is really fun, you should finish it. Dialga's part is a bit of a drag but it's worth it.

Speaking of Spinoffs, Super Mystery Dungeon is now finally out in EU/AU region! It was hard having to wait so long compared to the Americans but we're now finally able to experience the latest instalment of Mystery Dungeon.

If you've every played Fire Emblem Awakening, it's similar to that: turn-based strategy battles with Pokemon on a tiled environment. You might enjoy it if that's your thing. :)

I might consider getting it for my birthday this year, since I never played a spinoff Pokemon game before. You all know which Pokemon I'll be playing as, but as for my partner I'll probably choose a Fire-type - debating between Tepig (because Unova master race), Fennekin (second fave Kalos starter) or Chimchar (since I'm Year of the Monkey)

I can add that it's a bit like Mystery Dungeon, but instead of exploring one step per turn, you do a battle (mostly on some really weird map) against a team of opponents. Pokémon have all sorts of interesting new abilities and their trainers (warriors as they're called) have special powers as well.

Me too, I always save those items "just in case" I might need them, even though I know such a situation isn't very likely to appear. I am able to spend money however, as long as it's not for a single-use item, but something that is useful for forever, like the Friend Areas you mention. (Because if I spend it on one-shot items, I just keep those in my bag forever.)

I don't think they're going to stop making Mystery Dungeon games as they're quite popular. As for the others... I can't tell. The Ranger series has multiple games, but there haven't appeared any new ones for quite a while, but that might change. I really hope to see a remake of Pokémon Pinball as well.

Oh, I'm definitely going to trade that Hoothoot around so I can save him. I mean, he's been everywhere with me and has had so many adventures. I'm just lazy when it comes to transferring Pokemon up generations.

In Darkness, I have a Torchic and a Turtwig at level 36. In Time, I'm apparently only at Amp Plains (where I lost and now don't have any items), have a Charmander and a Bulbasaur, both at level 25.

On a random note, I had no idea Amp Plains had such awesome music.

And guess who decided to do a Nuzlocke challenge on Blue, Crystal, Emerald, Diamond, Black, Black 2, X*, and OmegaRuby! Because that's the type of decision that should be made on the way to work in the morning.

*I don't own X yet, but I really want it because Y is my main game.

Yeah I understand. I remember when I had to transfer bunch of rare candies and masterballs from Emerald (cloning ftw) to Platinum, Im still burnt out from it lol.


Also dude, as for PMD, you're almost exactly like me. I'm Cyndaquil partnered with Treecko, levels 37 (36 at the time of Primal Dialga events). Typings and levels are the same, you really should have much problem beating Dialga. Just stockpile some Reviver seed (make sure its reviver, not reviSer so you dont end up wasting your time like me lol), 5-10 should be enough to make it a breeze.
You should really do it cos the postgame is really fun and the game is endless (although a bit repetitive as all the others after the main game).
Amp plains' music is awesome, but Primal Dialga's music kinda tops it :D

Amp plains has great music but i hated it there my first round of the game when i had lets see a water type a fire type and flying types it did not go well :/
