So I aced this semester like a boss for the first time and its only been 2/4 weeks of midterms.

Nice job, man! :D

Have you guys been playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games lately?
I've went back and beaten the Primal Dialga on PMD Explorers of Sky. I'll also go back to Soulsilver now cos I have 9999 watts on Pokewalker and I have got to transfer them lol. Also gotta go to White and do some missions lol.

The last time I've played Mystery Dungeon was back in November when another person and I both attempted to re-play it at the same time, haha. It sadly didn't last very long since both of us got busy. ;_; (And if I recall, that was probably the last time I ever played any video game, I think?) Ah, well. I'm glad that I at least had the time to beat Explorers of Time/Sky a ton of times back in the day when I was still into video games. :p

Aaand my PokéWalker died years ago... :c I still have it as a souvenir, though! :D

55 I still have my pokewalker, never used it.

I still have my Pokewalker from my HeartGold version sitting on my desk. It just needs a new battery, which I have a stockpile of. I used to go through a lot of CR2032 batteries!

Just went digging through all my video games to gather together what I could find for Pokemon. I figured that I should replay through all my Pokemon games, from Blue up to OmegaRuby, including spinoffs. And I'm going to buy whichever ones I'm missing the best I can, to fill in holes in my collection. I thought about doing this because I really can't talk much about the Pokemon games, since I only play them once.

So while I haven't played Mystery Dungeon recently, I'm going to give the games another good try. Hopefully my playthrough of Time/Darkness works out better. Twice now I've gotten stuck on the final dungeon because I'm underleveled.

So what is a pair exactly?
A pair is a forum word for a close friendship. Sometimes it's romantic, but most of the time, it's just two (or more!) people who are close to each other and want a term for their relationship.

I lost my first one and i kinda freaked haha so i ordered a new one then never used it :P

Out of curiosity, which final dungeon are you referring to? I'll describe them in a spoiler tag just in case.

I know exactly how that feels. In Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon I died 2-3 times before I got to the boss. I don't know if the game's hard, or if I'm just bad at it...

^ I'm the same! I remember seriously struggling with Sky Tower during my first few playthroughs in BRT, even though there's just 34 floors and the Pokemon only ranged from level 20 - 30. >_<; I was under-levelled and at a type disadvantage IIRC.

Usually I find grinding so tedious that I tend to avoid it until I'm really stuck. Then it seems to take extra long. ;_;

Oh! Speaking of Mystery Dungeon, I should be receiving SPMD in the mail any day after it's released here! :D I'm super psyched for it!

Too bad, how can you handle not playing anything? :D

What do you have on that pokewalker? Change the battery! :D
Good decision about replying the games. Im on a marathon myself, this is the third year now I think, went through all the games and keep going back and forward and do some minor stuff in all games :D

Agreed; I mean, how are you not dying with the urge to play something, Revise? xD

I am also on a Pokémon marathon. I am Grass Monotyping a game from each region.

I have so far beaten Kanto (Red), Johto (Heart Gold), Kalos (Y) and Unova (White 2) with an all Grass Team. I am most of the way through Sinnoh (Pearl). I will finish with Hoenn (Alpha Sapphire).

Maybe... one day... I have a job that pays enough so that I actually have the money to buy a 3DS (or whatever it's called then) and play a real Pokémon game. *sigh*

Nice! Now come back to Choice Quest. The team's pinkness has decreased with 20% when Lotad joined.

I haven't gamed a lot lately. I've been playing Pokémon Conquest for a bit as well as Pokémon Gaia. Conquest is a bit PMD-ish you know, it also has the grid. It's less fun than Mystery Dungeon though...

A Hoothoot! I've had the same Hoothoot in my Pokewalker since November 2012! It's one reason why I'm not looking forward to resetting my HeartGold game, since it will be weird to not have that specific Hoothoot with me.

I thought about doing a Nuzlocke challenge through each game, but I'm playing Yellow in Japanese, so it'll be difficult for me to know right away what's happening in battle. I think playing the game in a language I can't fully read is challenge enough!

I know my HeartGold playthrough will be a mono-Normal challenge, Black will be a Nuzlocke, and I might do a Nuzlocke through Ruby or Emerald.

Poor Lycan :( I'm sure you will!

I'm too lazy for challenges lol

OMG TEMPORAL TOWER NO just no i beat it once...once and it took so many tries...so many reviver seeds eaten and so many sleep seeds dodged....#scarred4life

Long answer: Eheheheh, I probably shouldn't get into detail. xD
Short answer: I had to make some sacrifices. I'm used to it, though! ^-^;;

Spoiler:

Ah, I see! If you're restarting the game, I really recommend saving up Stun Seeds and Sleep Seeds for Primal Dialga! (They're very common.) Stun Seeds are really good since they prevent Dialga from moving at all until you actually attack him, which can allow you to position yourself and set the field properly. This can give you a devastating advantage if you use a Violent Seed on yourself (to instantly max out your attack stats) and a Vile Seed on Dialga (to instantly minimize his defense stats). Sleep Seeds, on the other hand, can give free turns to attack Dialga while not taking damage. Oh, and of course you should stock up on Reviver Seeds as well! Sometimes Dialga might catch you completely off-guard and wipe off your HP in a single turn. Good luck with your playthrough!

I enjoy turn-based strategy games like Conquest, yet you get through the story pretty quick. :< Then you can't continue with your hero and allies until you beat a bunch of the sidestories, which I found to be somewhat hard haha. Still, I hope they make another similar spin-off. :)

But now you've raised our suspicions! :o

Anyway, in response to the PMD topic: I actually didn't find Temporal Tower that hard. :P It's been a while since I last played, but I'm pretty sure I managed to get through without too many difficulties (besides those darn traps and the odd Reviver Seed lost). It's strange how I found Sky Tower to be so much harder, hehe. But yeah, those Stun Seeds are real saviours on any occasion! Totter Seeds also have proven their use throughout dungeons, particularly when I ran into a monster house and lacked a room-clearing move.

I once mistook a Reviser Seed for a Reviver in the heat of battle... and apparently fainted from laughter. xD It was my last one as well, so that was bad luck. :D

I'm a stickler for frugality when it comes to video games, though, so while I stocked up on Violent and Vile Seeds I never really used them. xD Then there's revives, elixirs, potions, Master Balls, money... these are things I always find myself saving, and never use, even though they're there to be used. :D One exception (concerning money in Mystery Dungeon) is when I spent tens of thousands of poké on Friend Areas hehehe.
