The Wolf Among Us Mafia [Dawn Of The Ninth Day][GAME OVER!]

I don't know the first thing about this game, but I know mafia and this doesn't make any sense. I don't know of a single event that has ever outright told us who the mafia were, I don't wanna be a part of the majority that screwed up this use of the mirror, so... I'm not gonna ask anything else because there already seems to be an agreement and perhaps asking different questions will screw up the answer and we don't want that. So we better ask the same thing or ask nothing.

I'm with johnny in this one. Really we're going to get identity of their leader that easily.
Everyone: Magic Mirror, I'm your biggest fan;Tell me, who is the Crooked Man?

Mirror: Oh ho! Let me tell you he is a man not woman. He is leader of Crooked Crew.

xD

So, same here I'm not saying anything.

So instead of helping the rest of the town ask the mirror a question, or even giving us an alternative idea, you'd rather just do nothing? Great. Thanks for the help.

It's almost as if you don't want to use the mirror to get information about the mafia...

Moving on to asking the Mirror a question... I'm not entirely sure just outright asking it who the Crooked Man is is going to work. It seems too easy, we have a character that is mafia and is linked to mirrors, and we can only ask it a question every other day so if this doesn't work we have to wait two days to use it again. On the other hand though, we need to figure out how the Mirror actually works, and while we might not get an answer as to who the Crooked Man is, we'll definitely get feedback of some sort giving us an idea as to how it functions and what we can ask it next time. We need to figure out how to use it, and we might as well figure that out now as opposed to waiting until later. So with that, I'll vote and contribute my efforts.

This is also my main reason for supporting the Crooked Man question. We know that the mirror probably isn't just going to say "oh, it's this person." Best case scenario, the mirror give us some sort of riddle or hint as to the identity of the Crooked Man. Worst case scenario, Bloody Mary stops us from looking at the Crooked Man. Either way, we've learned something about the mirror: either how it answers questions, or how Bloody Mary interacts with the mirror.

The woodsman question is also an option, but there's a chance the mirror will tell us something we already know - it was Georgie. For me, the Crooked Man question is preferable because we're more likely to get new information out of it, imo.

Would the Crooked Man question be more preferable to some of you guys if we rephrased it slightly? Instead of "Tell me, who is the Crooked Man?", we could ask it to "Tell me about the Crooked Man." That way, if the mirror isn't able to tell us about the identity of the Crooked Man, it might still be able to give us other information, such as whether he has unlisted powers and possibly what they do.

Does this question really make any sense? We're just wasting a good chance of getting some information.

Doesn't sound great coming from the person who doesn't want to ask it a question at all...

Aaand that's probably the longest post (and the most analytical post) I've ever done here. I apologise if I've got the wrong end of the stick here, I'm just trying to be a better player, please don't hate me :)

Also, one more thing. Where's Kaneki at? He hasn't posted at all.

First time I've seen you go balls deep, Night. You go, gurl!

I'll support you on this one, seeing as the "about" thing makes sense. Who knows, we might actually be able to make something out of it eventually.

Magic Mirror, I'm your biggest fan;
Tell me about the Crooked Man!

Maybe Mary isn't into power metal after all, sigh

ty :3 This is what happens when I've got too much time to spend on only one mafia game xD

I'll change my question too if the others agree with it, I don't wanna risk messing up the majority, or we'll get no information.

I kind of don't like this jab

What do you think of him then?

It's just like, we already have almost the entire thread going for a question. If you really want to do something to change something you don't like then provide an alternative along with throwing out aggressive criticism.

It seems pointless to call something stupid but do nothing other than say something is stupid.

Smh, I don't get the people not participating. What is there to lose? Do you think the Mirror's power is going to backfire and somehow kill people?

The Mafia already have an OP amount of killing powers, having an Inno role backfire randomly would be terrible planning on Nimsy's behalf, and the effort gone in to this means this clearly won't be the outcome.

We will likely get a riddle or some small clue to their identity. The Mirror isn't going to outright tell us who this is, obviously.

;-;

Also abstaining from saying the riddle just hurts the rest of us trying to discover how it works. We need a majority to say the phrase to the Mirror. It doesn't hurt or help you to abstain, just as it won't hurt anyone saying it.

?

I don't get that logic. What do we have to lose by asking the mirror a question? Granted, maybe the villains would learn the mirror's identity in exchange or something, but I doubt that would be the case with how Nimsy phrased the ability to request.

Who are you asking to because the two posts above are in agreement that no harm will come from asking the Mirror a question. :c

You called it stupid just then. Js. I don't understand what you mean by we could have another question - nobody has really suggested anything else and we only get one (and day is almost over...).

And... Chill. :)

I mean, I know what you're saying here, but do you think Johnny is scummy for it though?
This is interesting. Gonna elaborate on why later.
Short on time so this is gonna have to wait^

hopefully I'll be here to say more before the day ends

I wouldn't say scummy, but I'm not saying that he's a cop trying to steer us to lynch an investigated criminal, if that makes any sense. The way it was brought up just seemed unneeded and blown out of proportion in a way that the content of the post was ruined by the way it was presented.

Also for clarification Johnny I checked and you called the question stupid in several posts about it, questions have feelings too yunno.

I try to help. I even give some suggestion which is good.

What do you try to accomplish from that contentless post? There is nothing other than "who is that chick?" "Tell us about that chick"? Why me and johnny only? Superjolt and gimmepie isn't participating as well.
Acc to me you're either a third party or slight town.

Night One
It had been quite an unfortunate day for Bigby and the other residents of Fabletown. Word of the previous night's murders had finally gotten around, and the entire town was in dismay. Bigby seemed to be the most perturbed by what had happened, as it was his duty as sheriff to prevent these types of things from occurring. He knew he had to get to the bottom of these crimes as soon as possible, and he began asking around town to see if anyone had any information on these

"I've been through a lot of shit in this town, but his takes the fucking cake," Bigby said to Snow White as they approached The Magic Mirror. "The only thing I was able to find out from the Fabletownies was that a few of them have heard something about A Crooked Man… "A Crooked Man," asked Snow White as they stopped in front of The Magic Mirror. "Well, if that's all we've got, why don't we ask the Mirror about him…maybe he could give us some information about this Crooked Man.

Bigby gave Snow White a look of slight disapproval, but proceeded to ask the Mirror a question anyway. "Magic Mirror, I'm your biggest fan, Tell me, who is the Crooked Man," Bigby said to the mirror while giving it a slight look of discontent.

"You want to know about The Crooked Man? Well then, your wish is my command," the Mirror said to Bigby. "The The Crooked man walks a crooked walk, through the aura of those lost. He's vile and mean, cold to the core. He finds normal things simply a bore. He's known to have favorites and doesn't play fair. The Crooked man has not a single care." As the duo began to walk away, they were stopped by the Mirror giving them a somber warning. "People may be watching. I can feel their presence. It may not be wise to use my powers again so soon." Bigby and Snow looked at each other. Neither of them could really make heads or tails of what the Mirror had told them, and his warning did nothing but make their situation that much worse.

Day Two

Bluebeard was questioning Georgie.

"Are you associated with the crooked man?"

"I'm just a little 'ol toad, I don't know ****."

Bluebeard slapped him in the face.

"OI! what'd you do that for? You bloody arsehole!"

Bluebeard was getting ready to hit Georgie again when Vivian and Bloody Mary came into the interrogation room.

"wh-what? who the hell let you two in here?" Bluebeard questioned angrily

Mary smirked, "You have something that we want."

"So the crooked man wants his lackey back?" Bluebeard cracked his knuckles,"well you'll have to schedule an appointment first"

"I'm not one for calling ahead" the golden eyed woman cooed.

Bluebeard lunged at Mary, but she dodged it with ease and returned his assault with a swift kick to the ribs, sending him flying into the wall. An audible crack was heard with both impacts.

Bluebeard staggered to his feet and wiped the blood off of his mouth.

"You *****!" he roared as he lunged at her yet again.

She grabbed his fist and a wide, sadistic smile spread across her face. The violent woman then grabbed his head and smashed it into her knee, and as he was about to fall to the floor, she delivered yet another kick to his ribs sending him flying once more.

Beaten, bloody and bruised Bluebeard struggled to stand once more, but his broken bones and collapsed lung wouldn't allow him to. His vision was getting blurrier and blurrier, as blood seeped from his mouth and head.

Bloody Mary approached Bluebeard again, still smiling. She then proceeded to kick him in the head, causing him to fall over. Once he was on the ground, the evil woman began to stomp in in the head and ribs over and over again.

Vivian had untied Georgie during this one sided fight, and he casually strolled up to Bluebeard; who was still being stomped to death.

"wish you didn't hit me now, huh?" Georgie chuckled, his face mere inches away from Bluebeard's.

-------

The Tweedles were busy talking to Faith, asking if she had seen anyone snooping around. She hadn't seen anything peculiar, so they left it at that.

They then tried to start some idle chatter with the girl, but left as soon as they heard Bigby was entering the "Pudding and pie".

-------
gimmepie has died, he was Bluebeard

So Bluebeard had Georgie in his clutches. :/ It also seems like the Crooked Crew know who key players are. Kiyo, Alv, and Pie. All strong roles taken out right away.

And whoever Georgie is was claiming to be a "toad", but I don't remember anyone claiming anything about a frog yesterday. Perhaps Bigsby discovered a clue if he searched the Puddin and Pie given that's Georgie's hideout.

Ouch, our Jailer is gone. :( Guess we'll actually have to do **** today.

So, any ideas on the riddle from the Magic Mirror? It probably has information on which player the Crooked Man is, but I'm terrible at these things.

Also Klippy, I'm pretty sure that "toad" is a reference to the role Mr. Toad.
Mr. Toad - A slumlord and the father of TJ. If he is voted to be lynched, he and TJ will be sent to the Farm instead.
