I don't know the first thing about this game, but I know mafia and this doesn't make any sense. I don't know of a single event that has ever outright told us who the mafia were, I don't wanna be a part of the majority that screwed up this use of the mirror, so... I'm not gonna ask anything else because there already seems to be an agreement and perhaps asking different questions will screw up the answer and we don't want that. So we better ask the same thing or ask nothing.
I'm with johnny in this one. Really we're going to get identity of their leader that easily.
Everyone: Magic Mirror, I'm your biggest fan;Tell me, who is the Crooked Man?
Mirror: Oh ho! Let me tell you he is a man not woman. He is leader of Crooked Crew.
xD
So, same here I'm not saying anything.
So instead of helping the rest of the town ask the mirror a question, or even giving us an alternative idea, you'd rather just do nothing? Great. Thanks for the help.
It's almost as if you don't want to use the mirror to get information about the mafia...
Moving on to asking the Mirror a question... I'm not entirely sure just outright asking it who the Crooked Man is is going to work. It seems too easy, we have a character that is mafia and is linked to mirrors, and we can only ask it a question every other day so if this doesn't work we have to wait two days to use it again. On the other hand though, we need to figure out how the Mirror actually works, and while we might not get an answer as to who the Crooked Man is, we'll definitely get feedback of some sort giving us an idea as to how it functions and what we can ask it next time. We need to figure out how to use it, and we might as well figure that out now as opposed to waiting until later. So with that, I'll vote and contribute my efforts.
This is also my main reason for supporting the Crooked Man question. We know that the mirror probably isn't just going to say "oh, it's this person." Best case scenario, the mirror give us some sort of riddle or hint as to the identity of the Crooked Man. Worst case scenario, Bloody Mary stops us from looking at the Crooked Man. Either way, we've learned something about the mirror: either how it answers questions, or how Bloody Mary interacts with the mirror.
The woodsman question is also an option, but there's a chance the mirror will tell us something we already know - it was Georgie. For me, the Crooked Man question is preferable because we're more likely to get new information out of it, imo.
Would the Crooked Man question be more preferable to some of you guys if we rephrased it slightly? Instead of "Tell me, who is the Crooked Man?", we could ask it to "Tell me about the Crooked Man." That way, if the mirror isn't able to tell us about the identity of the Crooked Man, it might still be able to give us other information, such as whether he has unlisted powers and possibly what they do.
Does this question really make any sense? We're just wasting a good chance of getting some information.
Doesn't sound great coming from the person who doesn't want to ask it a question at all...
Aaand that's probably the longest post (and the most analytical post) I've ever done here. I apologise if I've got the wrong end of the stick here, I'm just trying to be a better player, please don't hate me :)
Also, one more thing. Where's Kaneki at? He hasn't posted at all.
