  • Detective Pikachu! It was so good I'm going to see it again. :)

Though I guess technically John Wick 3 would count, since I'm watching it right now. But I'm not really paying attention tbh.

LMAO... anyways last movie I saw was End Game(gave it a D for multitude of reasons). Not sure what my next movie will be but odds are it will be Aladdin because I have to give it a chance. May not meet Robin William standards but I'm sure its better than mediocre.

  • FINALLY got around to seeing Endgame tonight......let's just say I cried a lot but it also made me incredibly happy at the same time. Absolutely worth the 11 year wait.

  • Not counting Thor airing on HBO because I wasn't even paying attention to it, I watched Endgame for the second time recently. This time, with my dad. It was great; my dad didn't appreciate it as much because (1) he hasn't watched a lot of MCU movies, and (2) the movie theater was mostly empty, but he still seemed to have enjoyed it. He said Avatar was still better, though. :'D Oh dad, if only you've watched all 22 movies.

I thought it was great! I loved seeing the Pokémon walking around Rhyme City, and I saw all my favorite Pokémon in the film.
Ryan Reynolds' performance as Detective Pikachu really exceeded my expectations.

A very underrated movie. Disney really hasn't treated it right over the years.

  • TMNT (2007) yeah, that one. It was the first animated cgi TMNT product, so I thought I'd give it a try. It made me kind of sad the turtles were having trouble working together bc of discord between them. I really like the CG used in this film, and wondered why they didn't make a CG cartoon like this before the 2012 one, because I thought this version of TMNT would have been cool as its own tv show, but in the end, I guess it being a one-off was a good thing...

  • Seen Men in Black: International today.

It was a pretty bad movie but, unlike others in the franchise, it didn't take itself too seriously so it got away with it.

Also, it really should have been called Men in Black: The James Bond Parody!

  • Saw Aladdin yesterday. Gotta say I was impressed. I didn't really like either of the Cinderella or Beauty and the Beast live action remakes but this fell into a nice sweet spot that I really enjoyed. Music was very good, costume design was great, and they made additions to the story that felt natural and not shoehorned in like they did with B&B. Will Smith is no Robin Williams but he still did a great job as the genie.
