Every once in a while a Pokemon not native to the Pokemon world as we know it falls from the skies above, or thrive in the vastness of space. The Pokémon world is not the only place in its universe that Pokémon exist. There exist several Pokémon that originated somewhere through space that have migrated there, crash landed there, or appeared from their own dimensions. In this poll, please choose which which 'alien' Pokemon you think is the best or is your personal favorite! Info on each Pokemon proving their extraterrestrial origins listed below:

Cleffa, Clefairy & Clefable

The star-shaped Cleffa are said to have come to earth on meteorites. Wherever a meteorite lands, there is always a Cleffa near. In HGSS, Cleffa and their evolved forms, Clefairy and Clefable, dance in a ring on Monday nights, nights with a full moon, and on nights when meteor showers occur. Clefairy and its evolutionary relatives tend to make their habitat at impact sites, and Clefairy evolves into Clefable from a Moon Stone, further evidence that they are extraterrestrial in origin.

Lunatone & Solrock

Lunatone and Solrock are said to have come from space and to draw their power from lunar and solar rays, respectively. They are both known as "Meteorite Pokémon," as they were discovered near a meteorite strike site approximately 40 years prior to the events of Pokémon X and Y.

Deoxys

All Pokédex entries regarding this Pokémon explain that it was originally an alien virus that fell to earth in a meteor. Exposure to a laser beam mutated the virus's DNA, resulting in the Pokémon Deoxys. Upon further exposure to meteorites, Deoxys's Forme will change. Deoxys has four formes, adapted for survivability in the wild, and its specialized formes have some of the highest base stats of any Pokémon. The crystalline organ on its chest appears to be its brain, a departure from typical terrestrial Pokémon biology. Deoxys are described by the Pokédex as highly intelligent, possessing psychokinetic abilities, and are associated with auroras.

Kyurem

The Pokémon known as Kyurem, according to old myths, fell from a meteor that crash-landed into the Giant Chasm. The tale tells of a monster from space that roamed towns, bringing cold winds and would eat people it had taken away.

Staryu & Starmie

Starmie are said to be extraterrestrials because of their star-shape and their seven colored core, which emits radio signals into space at night. Staryu behave similarly, gathering at night and flashing their red cores to communicate with the stars. They are also known to have remarkable regenerative abilities, including Recover and Natural Cure.

Elgyem & Beheeyem

Elgyem and Beheeyem allegedly appeared 50 years prior to the events of Black and White Versions in the Desert Resort. It is unknown how or why they appeared, although rumors of its origin are linked to a UFO crash site. This could be explained by their ability to rewrite the memories of the people and Pokémon around them. They survive hostile encounters by using their psychic powers to confuse opponents. In the present day, they are no longer found in the desert, and have relocated to high up in the Celestial Tower and on Unova Route 14, respectively.

Minior

It eats dust in the atmosphere. The composition of the dust determines the color of its core. Places where Minior fall from the night sky are few and far between, with Alola being one of the precious few. Minior forms in the stratosphere from an aggregation of mutated nanoparticles, where it absorbs particulate matter from which it builds its core and shell. Eventually, this process makes it too heavy and it falls towards the surface of the planet. When its shell breaks from landing, Minior becomes lighter and capable of attacking quickly.

If you think of any others I have missed, please let me know so I can update the poll!

Note: I am not including multidimensional Pokemon like Mew, Mewtwo, Arceus, Giratina, Palkia, Dialga, etc.

Cleffa is just too adorable. When I played Gold for the first time I always wanted one but never got one :'(

I love Minior's inner core, though, so cute :)

As much as I love the Cleffa line I must say that I chose Elgyem and Beheeyem! They have such unique designs and are unfortunately considerably underappreciated!

Plus Elgyem is adorable in its own way!

This is hard to decide as there are bunch of my favorites, but I think I'll vote for Elgyem line as I had real fun using it and I loved its design since the reveal. It's a shame it doesn't have better stats, though.

Clefairy line and the Staryu line. No contest whatsoever.

... I suppose Deoxys comes at a somewhat close third but those are my top two!

I wish Beheeyem had better stats, because I love the line and want to use it, but there are always better options available, so it never really found a place on my teams.

I think my vote would go to Staryu/Starmie, who just edge out the Clefairy line, with Elgyem/Beheeyem in third.

Cleffa line I would have to say are my favorites! My Clefable served me very well in Pearl and Mystery of Mount Moon was my very first Pokemon anime episode so it and Clefairy have a special place in my heart. It's actually one of the few Pokemon that I have multiple plushes of that isn't Pikachu or a starter Pokemon (in fact I think it's the only pokemon where they is the case in my collection!)
the world could be tricking you right now

Deoxys for sure. Looks really cool and has a great boss theme.
I would say Rayquaza buuut it's not really 'extraterrestrial', it lives in the ozone of the planet. Still spacey though! :p
