I wanted to post "Where's the map?" after your first post, before you even post the second one with the map. That would be fast :)

Wow, that is indeed fast. I had to wait for that annoying "post cooldown" that prevents posting twice within 60 seconds (y'know the one that doesn't exist for you mod types smh), so I couldn't possibly have posted that faster. xD

Just realized my Fire Spin move has no range attached to it. Does that mean I can lock down anyone from the start? *grins at obvious oversight or was it!?*

I could've sworn I fixed that. :freaked-out: It's supposed to have a range of 1. Nice try though! :P

The Sneasel to our left ought to be next so as to secure our left flank, although the Gliscor can ruin that thanks to its Flying ability.

Just so you know, Gligar cannot possibly reach you yet. Even while able to fly, it is still blocked by those little trees. ;)

The Gumshoos is guarding that item ball so one of our Flying Pokemon ought to consider flying up the wall/ledge to go get it and retreating the following turn. I don't believe I can Attack it with Ember(if I could that's semi-OP. Speaking of which, Alolan Vulpix should have infinite use of Powder Snow), hence we might be able to take it out from afar or force it to move back.

You can! Ember can target any Pokémon from two squares away, even if there's a tree, ledge or other Pokémon in between.

Here's move/Attack suggestions.

Me: J2 -> G3; Use Ember on Skorupi
Glacier: Move to H5; Use Powder Snow on Skorupi
Cuddles: Move to L7(if you can make it); Use Water Gun on Alolan Rattata
Krakanos: Move to I4; Use Scratch on Patrat(Loaf at spot following turn)
Elwind: Move to J5; Use Scratch on Patrat
Rinnia: Move to N6; Use Confusion on Mankey
Black: Move to M6(give some protection to Rinnia unless Enemy can shoot diagonally); Use Hone Claws
Hit: Move to G4; Use Rock Throw on Skorupi(should knock it out if successful. Likely will take Sneasel counterattack)
Meta: Move to M7(if you can make it); Use Vacuum Wave on Alolan Rattata(be prepared for counterattack)
Windmill: Move to K7(if you can make it), Use Peck on Mankey. Tree gives some protection from counterattack
Felix: Move to I3; Use Baby-Doll Eyes in the event Patrat is still alive
Mercy: Move to K5; Use Scratch on Mankey(if still alive) or Double Team

Figure I'd quote my move suggestion list and seeing our current placements, there are only two issues. The first one is that Krakanos won't be able to attack Patrat at his present starting spot. Either you swap starting spots with me or move to I2 to start so you're in movement range of I4. The other issue is that Windmill can't reach K7 from its present starting spot of L2. However, we can still achieve the same result on Mankey if we swap Mercy's movement target with Windmill(namely Mercy moves to K7 and uses Scratch while Windmill moves to K5 and uses Peck). Based on current placements, I'm leaning towards doing that. Rinnia can be placed on M1 and Meta can be placed on M2 as their placement on right side really doesn't matter so long as they're in range of the suggested target by me.

Do remember folks, you are your own commander of your character. I can suggest something but you don't have to follow it(Especially since I've never played anything like this before).

^ Mm, pretty much that. And like said, we'll adapt to how things will turn out. Even if strategies are being helpfully there to optimize the outcome, I'm confident that most of us doesn't really give too much of a thought and will still deviate from it. But that's what makes these kind of games fun, because we get to take a role in a collaboration with others. So don't feel pressured and just do what you think is the right thing to do.

Noticed another issue with my movement plan. Hit can only move five and I have it moving six spots to use Rock Throw. Fortunately it can reach G3 and Attack from there while I can move to its old spot of G4 and use Ember. Unfortunately it means I can't swap spots with Krakanos so I'll have to remain where I am and Krakanos will have to relocate to I2 to be in range of Patrat. Any other errors/issues I may have missed? Also, I'll reitterrate again that you can completely ignore my suggestions. I'm just trying to have everyone using an action on Turn 1 that will benefit us in some fashion.

Black: L1 to M6; Use Hone Claws
Felix: J1 to I3; Use Baby Doll Eyes on Patrat

Edit#2: In the event Krakanos doesn't change starting spots(or can't), then he can move to M3 while Felix moves to I4 and does Tackle. Might not be enough to KO Patrat but it's an alternative plan and would take advantage of its Ability.

I'll take I3. It's a little closer to the Skorupi than I'd like, but I'll be moving to stay away from it on my first move.

Alrighty. I'll add your data to the map and then we should be good to go to start the first round!

What are his stats, movement, starting moves(aka Water Gun?), etc. If he has Water Gun, perhaps we can knock out Patrat after all by moving from I3 to J4 and attacking it diagonally. Also, I'll be mildly surprised if Skorupi is alive after our first moves ;) Got Fire, Ice and Rocks heading it's way if we all adopt my plan.

So I do not have an ability that can go diagonally. I do have a Move of 5, though, so on Turn 2 either the Sneasel or the Rattata (if the Mankey gets knocked out) can be open to me.

EDIT: Well, I probably won't use Water Sport since all it'll do is make Mozilla's attacks weaker. I'll be looking to replace this ability as soon as possible.

I see that now. Hmm yeah I suppose moving right is the prudent move and with your ability, Rollout is the better move to utilize and on that Sneasel no less. Think I3 -> M4; Use Defense Curl is ok?

Considering that despite the attacks, I can't assume by the time I move that the Mankey will get knocked out, that sounds like a sound strategy to me. And since we can move now...
