    Welcome to the fifth annual installment of the Favorite Pokémon Tournament, hosted here in Pokémon General! The goal of the Favorite Pokémon Tournament (also known as the FPT), is to determine the most popular Pokémon/Pokémon family of the users here at the PokéCommunity. This will be a 10-week set of polls running between now and December, where we'll pit almost all Pokémon of different types from past and present generations against each other to determine a winner. After we know the results of each type, we'll add all of those Pokémon to a final poll, where the winner(s) will be crowned champion, and will go down into the record books as PokéCommunity's favorite Pokémon of 2017!

    NOTE: Due to the number of existing Normal type Pokémon, not all eligible Pokémon are present in the poll (inclusion is based on popularity from previous polls). If you want to vote for an unlisted Normal type, check the "Other Pokémon" option represented by a (?), and leave a post with your vote.

    I'm voting for Persian, Kangaskhan, Tauros, Ditto, Snorlax, Porygon2, Smeargle, Miltank, Blissey, Swellow, Staraptor, Porygon-Z, Heliolisk, Toucannon, and Bewear. Also, I'll use the "Other" vote for Dodrio, Lickilicky, Braviary, and Diggersby.

    • Heliolisk and Silvally gmv. Heliolisk is an adorable happy lizard (and my favourite Kalos mon) and Silvally I loved at first sight due to its unique design and I also find it adorable. The fact it can change types like Arceus makes it much more cooler.

    Smeargle is my top favorite, Porygon2 too.

    Gotta ask why are Miltank and Tauros together?

    • Congratulations to Eevee on winning the Normal type poll, where it will be joining 2 of its evolutions who already punched their tickets to the finale.

    Be sure to check back here on Wednesday for the final 2 types in the tournament (Fire and Water), before we head on to the grand finale!
