    Alright! So I had this in my blog and Sammi and Rai gave me the go ahead *happy* so I am posting it here. It's a PC questionairre; so have a look and fill it out (it will be ongoing)~

    The results are here and they will constantly be updated as more people take the survey! So pass the poll link around (don't spam it though!) if you have friends who don't come to OVP often so we can get some rounded stats!

    Ooh, thank you Kura -- I really enjoyed this! =D I do like to take surveys and polls, I find them to be very interesting, especially when I feel like I have a valuable opinion to contribute. I have only taken customer service satisfaction surveys over the phone, and they were OK. Mainly just did it to help the person out. And yes, I would like to see more of these PC surveys in the future!! It was fun. =D

    And I actually love taking polls, lol. Whenever someone puts one together, I am usually like "OOH OOH LEMME TAKE IT!" I don't know why I enjoy them so much. Maybe because it's easy to do, and it lets me voice my opinions? Maybe it's the anonymity? I dunno. Whatever the case, this one, and lots of others, are fun. xD

    I prefer polls because there's less writing involved so therefore less of a chance I'll make a really simple grammatical mistake and make a complete fool out of myself :x not like I don't do that on a regular basis anyway...

    I haven't even taken one over the phone xD Unless it's like a friend or someone who I actually know that calls getting cancelled as soon as I hear them mention a survey xD

    I like Surveys. They take some time out of me and they're fun. I'll answer the bold questions later
     
    Can you be more specific on the generation question, is it for the Pokemon themselves or the franchise because I love the Gen 4 & 5 games but I would not throw them at the top if I was talking about the Pokemon.

    Hey that's a good idea; I'll be more specific about the games.. and add another poll question like "WHich gen if your favourite pokemon from?" (and allow up to 2 choices to be picked)

    Edit: Damn also I added a bit of a quote to the forum leader thing because I guess staff could be skewing results ._. (obviously they don't want to think they are not great) so it's a little late but.. ._. yeah.. I should keep that in mind if I'm ever gonna do a poll again.

    That type of survey is fun to do, when it's about something you actually care about lol. So I actually did complete that one. But others I cbf. But I do like to voice my opinion, esp online cuz I love to type lolol.

    I'd like to see them again but I think you covered pretty much everything there so I can't imagine it being any different next time, and then that wouldn't be as much fun. :(

    I do enjoy surveys/polls (multiple choice style). They're very simple, not too time consuming, and are helpful for teh purposes of social sciences. :3

    Sorta kinda. I can't remember any instances at the moment; however, I'm sure I have answered surveys over the phone before. I enjoy getting phone calls, lol. I do answer more online surveys through my school email.

    I won't take this poll again because I already did it when you had it on your blog, but I'm glad we worked out a way to bring it to OVP :) it's a really fun idea!

    I love taking surveys and gathering statistics about things, I've always been fascinated to find out how many people answer questions the same way I do. I enjoy voicing my opinion on things as well, but polls and surveys are a lovely change in that you can let your opinions be known without having to commit to the effort of defending them.

    I don't like phone surveys though, because I am literally the worst phone talker you will ever meet.

    I'm amazed that this got approved tbh. I could comment on some of the answers which I found funny (the point that Arcanine made was a particularly good one lol), but nah.

    I quite like surveys and polls because they show an overall representation of a group more efficiently and it's easy to give out a lot of information. That, and I quite enjoy taking them for some reason; I'm not too sure why though! However, if I feel I'd like to explain myself a bit more, then it's gotta be written answers over surveys.

    I've never taken one over the phone although I guess it'd be alright. Depends on how obvious it is that the person on the other end is just reading off a list of questions tbh.

    I like them both, polls and surveys are better for getting small amounts of information from a lot of people quickly, writing is good for going into depth and detail about whatever the topic is.

    If I'm remembering right there was one a year or so ago which had a fairly positive reaction and I'd love to see more of these.
