    The third generation was the first generation to feature more than one evil team when one counts the games overall (as well as being the only one to have a game with more than one where both actually are a threat, Emerald, and still is). One desired the Rise of the Land in Hoenn and eventually the whole world. The other wished to sink Hoenn and eventually the rest of the world underwater. The other one in Kanto wanted to dominate the region and eventually the whole world.

    Which team do you like the best out of the Generation Three three teams? Why? What didn't you like about them? Which is your least favorite? If you could join one of these teams, which would you join?

    I voted for Team Aqua, due to my love of Water-types and also I love the pirate theme with their uniforms. Both the original design and the OR/AS designs are awesome, so don't be surprised if I spend most of my Hoenn playthroughs in the Sapphire version.

    Team Magma's uniforms are alright, but they're not as awesome as Aqua's. Least fave is definitely Rocket, they have always been the most boring villains in my opinion.
     
    I had to vote for all three. Becoming victorious over all of the teams is what makes the games fun, no matter if it involves what their motives are. Archie wants to flood the world. Maxie wants the world to have no water. Giovanni is a ****ing mob boss. How much more awesome could you get than that?
     
    I am a fan of Team Aqua. I like the colour blue, for starters, and prefer their objective over the others. Also, I favour Archie over Team Rocket or Maxie and their design works for me.
     
    I'm a fan of team aqua because i love water types plus theyre goal is kinda good. Although magmas kinda coincides more water is just something more cool haha and rockets are just annoying lol.
     
    I love Team Magma. I'm a huge fan of fire types and their team outfits. Plus the admins on the team are pretty cool as well. Their leader is by far my favorite between the two. He's all for expanding the land and getting rid of the water. (to much water ofc)

    My least favorite would have to be Team Rocket. They showed up to much in the games and didn't even really improve. Their outfits are also really bland with just mostly being black. Their leader basically never shows up even though he's the main dude behind it all.
     
    Yeah, I really liked Team Magma and Team Aqua. Besides, Team Rocket they are probably my favorite evil villain teams in the game so far. I remeber first playing the games and watching the anime, as a kid it was interesting and exciting to see more than one villain teams and see them battling it out. Then even more exciting to see Groudon vs. Kyogre later in the anime, and in Pokemon Emerald as well! My favorite team was Team Aqua. I thought that they had the cooler Pokemon (Sharpedo ftw) and would beat Team Magma because I feel like Kyogre would defeat Groudon anyways. I would join Team Rocket if I could, and kick Giovanni's ass and become the boss myself. ;)
     
    I like Aqua the best. Those uniforms are damn stylish and in Emerald they seemed like the more "good" of the two. It seems most of the people here agree with me. I don't really like water Pokémon though.
     
    I like the godfather style of team rocket, but man team magma made vulcan hoodies look cool and i love hoodies so team magma for me
     
    I honestly can't choose between Team Magma or Aqua, lmao. Their goals were really crazy, but they each had nice uniforms and a kickass boss. However, I still really like Team Rocket and I'm able to appreciate how their goal is just to simply steal Pokemon - and that's that, which is something I miss from the newer generations with their over-the-top ambitions.
     
    Team Aqua, hands down. Team Rocket is far too generic and relatively boring. And I'm not sure why, but although Aqua and Magma are really similar, I just find Aqua's water-theme much more appealing to me than the fire-theme Magma has going for them.
     
    Team Rocket. Giovanni is the the most badass villain and his idea of ruling is the most simple. And their base BGM is just awesome.
     
    I'd have to say Team Magma is my favorite. I strongly prefer fire types overall than Water types, I like the idea of expanding land over expanding water, and Groudon is just plain amazing!

    Maxie is also a pretty chill dude and i think our minds would mesh very well together {XD}

    Despite this I marginally prefer Aqua. Not sure why. I think maybe they're a lot better than Magma but I'm distracted by the volcano base.
