Babylon
Mafia is a game about the conflict between the informed minority, the mafia, and the uninformed majority, or the innocents. At the start of the game all the roles are given out at random. The game is split into day and night phases; during the night the mafia will covertly kill one innocent player, and during the day the innocents will lynch a player they suspect is mafia. Of course most of you probably already know this.
STORY
This game is set in the fictional world known as Babylon. In this world, all living creatures have adapted to feed off humans. To protect themselves the remaining cities have been walled off and are connected by underground tunnels, no travel is permitted outside of the walls.
The entire world is run by one government, Babylon. All decisions are made by the council, which is comprised of 40 individuals, and the king. Though, the king is only really king in name as he barely has any more power than the other members.
The quality of life in Babylon is very poor. The majority of people have little or no money and live on the streets, and the poor are oppressed by those in power. But, because of the massive amount of power the government has nobody dares to challenge them. Except for one group, known as Gomorrah. Gomorrah is a terrorist faction lead by an Archmage that wishes to purge the corruption from the government. But their methods are… Questionable to say the least.
ROLES
Babylonians
This game's innocents. The Babylonians are the normal citizens of Babylon.
Reader
They can peer into the soul of another player and see whether the player is innocent or not. This requires a massive amount of energy, so it can only be performed once per night.
Psychic
The Psychic is a normal babylonian that has visions in their sleep. These visions usually give them hints about who is what role. They, however, are rather cryptic and must be deciphered by the Psychic
Guard
A master of the blades that can choose to protect a player once every night. If the player they protect is targeted they have a random chance to kill the attacker.
Assassin
One trained in the arts of stealth and assassination. They can target one player once in the game and end their life. However they do not know who their target is aligned with and can kill an innocent player.
Sharpshooter
The sharpshooter is a master of the crossbow. They are able to shoot one other player in the day phase- no matter the alignment. The may be seen doing this, however.
Magician
The Magician is a master of black magic. They have several spells available to them, but only known to them.
Enchantress
The enchantress is a very mysterious person. They give a player a crystal ball once every night. That player can then target another player. If they are killed then the role of whatever player they targeted will be revealed.
Weaponsmith
Having worked as a weaponsmith for years, he is able to create a crossbow once every night phase and deliver it to another player. He can also craft a sabotaged crossbow that when fired will launch the bolt into the user instead.
Blacksmith
The blacksmith is able to craft a suit of armor once every night. This armor can protect one player if they are attacked at night, or during the day. However, the blacksmith can also create a sabotaged suit of armor that will not protect the chosen player.
Judge
The Judge is able to use their power to override a lynch on one player. They can then redirect that lynch onto the player with the second most votes, they can choose to have no lynch.
Anxious Babylonian
The anxious Babylonian will panic and kill anyone that visits them in the night. He does not consider their alignment or role so even innocent players will be killed.
Cursed
The cursed is a player that is marked by a horrible curse that will one day take their life. But, if they are killed by another player the curse will be passed on to them, and they will be killed in the following phase.
Jailer
If the there is no kill in the day phase the Jailer will take one player and imprison them. That player will be protected, and the jailer will have an anonymous conversation with them. The Jailer can choose to kill the imprisoned player.
Party Host
This player has been preparing a massive party for some time now. They are allowed to prepare for the festivities during any day phase, and they can throw a party that night. But this can only be done once per game
Commander
The commander handles all the votes in the game. If they are killed then all votes will be taken anonymously.
The Locksmith
The Locksmith can forge a lock and key for another player to use. unfortunately due to the rather low quality of his work the key usually breaks after being used.

The Puppet Master
The Puppet Master is an insane scientist that is able to use their knowledge to manipulate a player and gain control of their night action. They can only manipulate one player at a time.

Unaffiliated
As well as the main alignments, there are also those who are not aligned to either.
The Warlock
The Warlock wins if he can correctly guess who will be burned the next phase three times. If they guess wrong three times they lose.

The Psychopath can win if he kills every other player in the game. Each phase he must kill one player regardless of their role.
The Lovers
The lovers are two members of either the innocents or Gomorrah, possibly one from each. They are so closely bonded that when one dies the other will follow. They can also have special roles.
The Devourer
If the Devourer can correctly guess a player's role that player will die and they will become immune to being lynched. If they guess incorrectly all votes against them will be counted three times.
The Fool
The Fool wins if he is Executed.
The Clockmaker
The Clockmaker Chooses a Victim each night.
The Clock Starts at 6. If the victim is innocent the clock goes forward 1 hour. If the victim is Mafia it goes back one hour. If the Victim is Third Part it goes forward three hours. The Clockmaker wins if the clock reaches 12 o Clock.
Specter
If the specter is targeted they will haunt the person that killed them. If the player that killed the specter is alive at the end of the game the specter will win. If the specter lives to the end of the game they win.

Rules
- All PokeCommunity rules apply.
- Each phase every player has one vote and is is required to vote. Missing three votes will result in your death due to inactivity. You can choose to abstain from voting by posting [No Kill]
- Once you have voted you may not change your vote.
- Votes must be submitted in the format [Kill] Player. It must specifically be "Kill" in the brackets and it must be in Bold or it will be ignored.
- If you are dead you are dead. Don't continue to post in the thread or take part in discussion.
- However, players that are killed are allowed to make one dead post. But they aren't allowed to give any spoilers.
- In the game the Day Phase lasts 48 hours and the Night Phase lasts 24. During the night phase you are not allowed to post and doing so will result in your immediate death.
- Do not share PMs, you are allowed to share information contained within a PM, but you cannot quote or share screenshots.
- Do not communicate with other players about this game outside of the thread. However the mafia will be allowed to communicate with each other during the night phase.
- All night actions must be sent to me through PM. If you wish to abstain from a night action you must PM me letting me know. Missing two night actions will cause you to lose that night action.
