Yeah it is a little uncanny, but still! Fairy representation is important!

Favorite Fairies: Mawile, Azumarill, Gardevoir, Sylveon, Mimikyu, Tapu Fini, and a list such as this one is not complete without Alolan Ninetales.

Espeon not being part Fairy is just a ridiculous decision on GameFreaks part.

Edit: Just saying, Espeon looks like a fairy to me XD no offense intended

I believe Espeon should stay full psychic....O__o;; Seriously, not all 'girly' pokemon should be fairy types, and its insulting to me that people assume they should be. -_-; I love the fairy type, but not all girly things are THE SAME. Sorry, I do get a bit defensive about this kind of thing, i admit it (but i've been picked on loads for liking girly things in the past....).

(Also, all types should have a chance at being girl friendly ^_^;; water, psychic, fire, ice, grass....they can all be very pretty too <3)

This thread could be fun for members of this club to post in :3 (many fairy types are pink. btw, don't worry, that doesn't bother me. pink is my favorite color and i think its a positive and empowering color too^^ also, i wouldn't say a lot of fairies being the same color is as serious to me as all girly pokemon being the same type xD; theres many shades of pink too anyways :3)

I would agree with you normally, but this is an eeveelution we are talking aout. We already have Sylveon, and it wouldn't be right to just change a previous Eevee typing.

Yes! Our beloved fairy type supporter is now the owner of PC, and we all couldn't be happier to have her. Seriously, it's like a Christmas miracle. <33

But I will state that the fairy type is probably my favorite gen 6 thing besides korrina.

I probably never mentioned that yet lol

Yeah, it is great Sheep is now the owner of Pokecommunity. I am very happy and glad she took over as owner, she was a brilliant staff member.
 
Not that I'm dissing Fairy types but Fairy really isn't useful in Let's GO/Kanto due to the sheer lack of Dark Types(Kanto Dex does not have any, hence inclusion of Alolan forms), Dragons(Dratini line is it...) and Fighting(outside of Bruno, Fighting Dojo and Hikers, who really has them? Plus Psychic and Flying does the job on them). Compounding that is that the Kanto Dex is like 1/3rd Poison and Magnemite learns a solid Steel move in Flash Cannon.

That said... Alolan Ninetales is still a solid Pokemon. It sweeps Bruno with ease.
 
Well, keep in mind that Fairy types were created so far after the Kanto games it's really no surprise they're not optimised. But ye Alolan Ninetales ftw. <3
 
While Fairy Types aren't really optimised, there are two steel types in the entire game, not including Meltan and Melmetal. Most Fairy types have Psychic, and the ones we do have a quite bulky, so even without being super-effective, they have good coverage and serve as a great wall if need be. That's why everyone I knew tried to capture a Clefairy in Mt Moon.
 
Yeah despite suffering from four move syndrome, they really do get decent neutral coverage imo. That said, I don't have LGPE though sooooo
 
I only just bought it the other day. XD Eevee is so adorable. *w* Honestly, Eevee could probably solo the entire game, with all it's new coverage and stat boost.

Oh, have any of you been keeping up with the anime? If so, what are your thoughts on Brock possibly finding a girlfriend? It isn't Fairy Type related, but I have no one else to ask

If we were doing this on an unofficial basis, Brock has several Girlfriends. It just so happens many of them evaporate within one Episode(due to the fact they lose interest) but the one that still has staying power involves a certain Battle Frontier "Pike Queen" in Lucy. All of her Pokémon have eyes just like Brock, which may explain her attraction to him. Anyways... back to Fairy Type discussion.
 
Do you like using Mawile more or less now that it's Fairy type as well as Steel? I'm contemplating using it in Ultra Moon :3
