30 Days of Gaming Challenge

Best voice acting.

OH YES! OH YES!
I'm so glad I start this topic =D

Time and Eternity and Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory.
Both had my 2 TOP seiyuus ever and both had another one from my TOP 10.

Oop, it was actually already day 25 in my last post ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Day 25 - A game you plan on playing.
Of the games that I own but haven't been able to try yet, I'd say Thief and Saint's Row IV are at the top of that list.

Day 26 - Best voice acting.
I know this question is probably asking for a game with the best voice acting, but as I can't really settle on one I'm just going to pick my favorite voice actor -
TROY BAKER

From protagonists like Talion and Yuri Lowell to infamous bad guys like Pagan Min and the Joker, this guy must have voiced over a hundred beloved video game characters by now and I'm still constantly surprised to see his name listed in the credits of pretty much everything. He's really good at what he does, and voices quite a few of my favorite leading males.

Day 26 - Best voice acting.

Probably going to go with Tara Strong with this one for not only her work in Video Games (Skylanders, Final Fantasy X/X-2, Batman Arkham Series) but as a great voice actor all around

Honorable Mention goes to Bobcat Goldthwait for his work as Pop Fizz in Skylanders: Giants and the rest of the series :)

26. Best Voice Acting

I can't really say, but I loved all the voicing in Planescape: Torment. Here's some companion banter to start off with:

Day 26: Best voice acting.

Like I said on Day 8, I usually mute games. Soundtrack, voice acting, these things usually don't stick with me, lol. But there was.. one game in particular that you just can't play without the fab voice actor.

The Stanley Parable. The narrator makes this game. You just can't play it without enjoying his company. :3

Day 26, Best voice acting

When it comes the game I find that has the best voice acting, it is actually more of a series. For me, it would have to be the Mass Effect series. How great is the voice acting, very great. Considering voice actors include Keith David (Captain Anderson), Jennifer Hale (Female Commander Shepard), Raphael Sbarge (Kaidan Alenko), Seth Green (Jeff "Joker" Moreau), Tricia Helfer (EDI), Steven Blum (Grunt), and Troy Baker (Kai Leng).

Day 26 - Best voice acting

Two games that stick out for me are Bastion and (As Sgt.dustmop mentioned) The Stanly Parable. In both games the Narrator is Dynamic, as in the narrator responds to your actions in game. And while Bastion doesn't have the humor of The Stanly Parable, the Voice acting I think is just as good. (I like his accent too.) But I think I liked the writing more in The Stanly Parable.

Day 26 - Best voice acting

Mass Effect boasted a huge cast of VAs and the quality was higher than any game before it. Each character felt alive, truly, and the dialogue built into the games was superb as well. Every voice fit the character on-screen and that's a good mark of quality.

Day 26 - Best voice acting

I'll go with Star Fox 64 because to this day, it's the still the most quotable game I've ever played. Even with the cartridge's limited capabilities, just about all the dialogue is voiced, and with pretty good delivery to boot. The voice acting really did add a dynamic sense of adventure to it all.

Cocky little freaks! {XD}

Day 26 - Best voice acting

I guess I'll say Final Fantasy XII. I don't listen to the actual sound of video games that much anymore since I usually play music. But ff12 was one of the games that had memorable voice acting and I played it before I got into the habit of playing music. There weren't too many overly annoying moments and they portrayed the characters well so.

Day 27 - Most epic scene ever.

Epic...having flashbacks to the horror of being a little kid and fighting against Psycho Mantis. But that's not really epic epic, epically horrifying yes. I'd have to say something in Final Fantasy simply because they're made to be epic, but I'm going to say the ending of Dead Space 3. It was actually the first Dead Space game for me and so I didn't know much of what was going on except for what I could gather from what was in the moment, so jump scares were a plenty and then that final boss fight. -insert mind blown .gif-

Day 27, Most epic scene ever

When it comes to the most epic scene ever, I would have to choose a scene from Mass Effect 3. The one I would choose is Kalros, the mother of all thresher maws Versus a Reaper Destroyer. For a Commander Shepard that has the Sole Surviver military background, this scene is their two biggest enemies duking it out. Plus, later in the game it is found out that
Spoiler:

27. Most epic scene ever

Several, but the one that stands out to me most right now is in Fallout 3: Liberty Prime tearing his way through Enclave forces, decimating everything in his way, throwing football nukes at Vertiberds, and taking down energy fields. Yes, you control your character through the whole thing, but you don't really need to fight because up until you get to the Jefferson Memorial, Liberty Prime just takes care of everything for you.

Day 27 - Most epic scene ever

...I'm not sure. There are a lot of scenes that come to mind for me, but I might go with that one scene from the end of New Super Mario Bros Wii. I really wasn't expecting something like that from a 2D Mario platformer.

Bioshock's Rapture introduction scene. From the plane crash to the first "Would you kindly?" was one of the best introductions to a game of all-time and I continually remember that scene (or scenes) as one of the best introductions to a series of all time.
