Day 03 - A game that is underrated.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. - PS2.

Why do I think it's underrated?

In my opinion it's a very good but it doesn't get the recognition it deserve. This game is over-shadowed by Vice City, deservedly so, but VCS is a game you would easily forget about. It has a good storyline and characters and graphics roughly the same as the original Vice City. It has good and challenging missions and has sad and revengeful ending.

Day 04 - Your guilty pleasure game.
Well, this is tough really, because I don't think I have a guilty pleasure game. But if I had to pick any, I guess it would be that new dance game for the Kinect. Don't know what it is called and I don't have it, but my tutor brought it in to University randomly and I went on it, it was so much fun but I don't even know why. However, the novelty wore off rather quickly.

Day 04 - Your guilty pleasure game

Star Wars Episode I: Racer (N64): This game came in a bundle with Ocarina of Time and GoldenEye 007 and I played THIS one the most. THIS ONE. I think I'm just a sucker for racing games anyway, but there was something about the cool high-tech spaceship racing, as well as the desert locations of it all. Looking back on it, it probably wasn't really any good, but don't let 10-year-old me know that!

Day 04 - Your guilty pleasure game.
Dance Dance Revolution: EXTREME (PS2)

I got that DDR: EXTREME for Christmas one year and I was hooked. My friends called me a loser for being so addicted to that game but hey, I was getting exercise from it! So it can't have been too bad. :P I used to be pretty good at it but I haven't played it in a while. I should change that...

Day 04 - Your guilty pleasure game.
100% any sims game :P I'll go a year without playing the sims and then they'll come out with a new awesome expansion and i'll go on sim playing binges and just waste days on it. If that generations expansion comes out, you bet i'll be wasting more time on it :'D it's so fun but so unbelievably pointless too.

Day 4: Your Guilty Pleasure Game
Rugrats Scavenger Hunt (N64)
- I believe this was one of my first N64 games. It gets bad ratings overall, because it's basically a board game on a N64 cart. But I found this game very fun, and still do! And there's only 1 board I actually like playing. The one where you have 5 broken statues that you have to find all the pieces to before Angelica finds the pieces to her one statue. The music and sound effects used to scare me and make my eyes well up for some reason (it still happens and tbh, it's happening as I type this...I've always been this way lol). But yeah. No shame in still playing it! I have NEVER finished the Reptar board though and I STILL don't understand it.

Day 04: Your Guilty Pleasure Game

Probably Final Fantasy VII on the NES, which I just got today. I generally don't get poor knock-off games, but this is a large step above the normal Chinese bootleg games that I see. The combat is so slow and repetitive, the music is really irritating after a while, and flashbacks are cut out or done horribly, but it has a sort of charm that I didn't really find in Final Fantasy VII.

I'll be damned if I tell any of my friends that I enjoy this game.

Might as well jump in. A little late, so I'll catch up on everything.

Day:
01
Question:
First video game
Why:
I can't remember what it was exactly, but I believe it was Crash Bandicoot for the Playstation. Granted, it could have been a game for another system, but the one I remember playing first was Crash Bandicoot. I remember just being stuck on the first level and running around the beach pointlessly. Never actually got far in it, but it is still a memorable game because it was my first.

Day: 02
Question: Favorite character
Why: I haven't really thought of this sort of question before. I typically just power through video games, so it's not like I get attached to a specific character. If I had to choose a favorite character, though, it would be Moosh from the Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons/Ages. He really isn't a majorly important character, but I've always liked him. He's a freaking flying blue bear. What's not to like?

Day: 03
Question: Underrated game
Why: I'm more of a mainstream gamer. I generally don't poke my nose into games that aren't popular or haven't received lots of praise. However, it isn't to say I haven't played games that aren't unknown. I wouldn't exactly call my pick completely underrated, but when I ask the majority of people what the game is, they have no idea what I'm talking about. The game I chose was Golden Sun. I'm not referring to Golden Sun DS, but the original Golden Sun for the GBA. It wasn't that popular (at least not when you compare it to other RPGs like Final Fantasy). However, it's a great game that is tons of fun.

Day: 04
Question: Guilty pleasure game
Why: I don't really have any guilty pleasure games now, since most games I play are commonly accepted as okay for a teenage male to play. However, a few years ago, my guilty pleasure game was Maple Story. Yeah, many people played it, but the people I was friends with (and still am friends with, mind you) didn't exactly approve of it. They viewed it as a stupid, childish game where you run around beating up mushrooms. True enough, but it was fun and addicting. To each his own.

Day 04 - Your guilty pleasure game
Wow, that's a hard one. I'd probably have to say Eternal Sonata. Everyone passes it off as girly, and I would get butchered if my friends knew that I've played it through several times through.

Day 04 - Your guilty pleasure game

Cityville on Facebook. It's not even that great of a city simulator but I got into it when it was in beta and just couldn't stop.

Day 04 - Your guilty pleasure game.

The Sims.

A little bit more info.

This is a tough one and out of all the games I've played this is the game that comes closest to a guilty pleasure game. I loved playing The Sims: Bustin' Out and The Sims: Urbz In The City on the Nintendo DS and PS2.

Other Sims games I got was The Sims 2: Castaway. It was alright but not great.
The Sims 2: Pets. I found that to be a good game.
The Sims 3. It was alright but eventually got bored of it.

Day 04 - Your guilty pleasure game
Y'know, I don't really think I have one for myself. There really aren't any games which I would cower and hide from everyone else because they don't like them. Buuuuut if I had to choose one of the games that I play, it'd have to be something like Yugioh 5D's Decade Duels (Xbox Live Arcade). It really is fun and all, and it reallly isn't the game I'd go around telling everyone that I play it. Yet any game can be a guilty pleasure game, so long as there are people who think it's terrible that you play it.

Spoiler:

* Spoilered for bigness.

Day 04 - Your guilty pleasure game

Uh... Yu-gi-oh Spirit Caller for the DS. I'm fairly sure that barely anyone knows what Yugioh is anymore, so I would be laughed at for playing a game like that. >_> It's quite interesting though... I find it so fun to just pound those smarmy jerks into the ground with my deck, so yeah...

Day 05 - Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were).
This is pretty hard. I don't really know of any characters that are similar to me; maybe Leon S. Kennedy in the looks department, not the coolness department.
I guess I would choose Leon from Resident Evil 4. I blooming love that guy so much that I even cosplayed him. Sad right? I know, but he is just very cool.

Day 04 - Your guilty pleasure game

YuGiOh tag force. I love this game on the psp. its amazing. and its seen as being for kids. Well thats what my family say anyway. 0

Day 05 - Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were)

Luffy (one piece grand battle)

I cosplayed him when I went to london mcm last year, i love his characcter and some of the things about him that he does like with his friends I wold also do for mine.

Day 05 - Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were)

Commander Kahn (Elite Beat Agents): This one's definitely an aspirational goal to try and achieve. He's the head of a government agency designed to help people through their problems by making them dance it off. Seems like a cushy job, and in the inevitable chance you get to go out on missions, you get some lovely backup dancers to help you work. Sounds like the life of luxury!

Spoiler:

Just quickly catch up...
Day 1 - Mario Kart 64
Day 2 - Boyd (Fire Emblem 9/10)
Day 3 - Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
Day 4 - Fifa Street 2
------------------------------------------
Day 5

This is really tough to be honest..As I can't really think of any that I am like..But just to think of myself way too highly, I'll go with Duke Nukem.

What? I'm that cool. I promise.

Day 04 - Your guilty pleasure game.
I donno. QWOP? I don't really have one. xD;

Spoiler:

Day 05 - Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were).
Roxas ( Kingdom Hearts ) - I'm whiny sometimes, I'm cheerful sometimes, I like being around my friends, and I have a very curious mind. I'd say I'm most like this guy. No, I'm not blonde. Neither am I Jesse McCartney. :V

Spoiler:

Day 05 - Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were)

I'm like Vera Misham in Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney because I'm quiet (sometimes, too quiet), and a person who like to draw things. I don't have a fashion sense like her, but I'm scared of some things, like being kidnapped and such. I do wish I was more talkative though...

Spoiler:

Day 05 - Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were)
I wish I was more like Franziska Von Karma. Not in a "I-want-to-yell-at-people-and-whip-them-all-the-time-for-no-good-reason" kinda way, but more so because she's so blunt and doesn't sugar coat things and she's certainly not a pushover. I would like to be more like that, since I'm nice to people, they tend to think they can take advantage of that. If I were more Franziska-like, I could make them back off :D
