30 Days of Gaming V2

Day 12

Everyone should play Mother 3. It is simply the most amazing AND easy to obtain games I have ever played. Since it never released outside of Japan, download an emulator, download the J-ROM and the Fan Translation. It's a beautifully sprited game, with such a moving plot, and awesome gameplay elements, and it's not even a weighty RPG. Took me like 12-13 hours to beat, I think?

Day 11: Favourite Game System

For me it has to be the PS2 so many great games that I still play to this day. Had some of the best RPG games on it.

Day 12: A game everyone should play

God of war. I only just started playing this myself but its really good. I don't normally play this sort of game but I am loving it.

Day 12:

Everyone should give The Sims 2 a play. You'd be seriously surprised how much time you'll spend playing virtual dollhouse even if you were totally against the idea of playing the game at first. There are just so many gags, and your Sims are so hilariously stupid you'll wonder how the house started on fire from their microwave. And then there is also the fact that you don't have to play it like it's a virtual dollhouse.

Day 12: A game everyone should play

I don't really... have a strong opinion about this at all. :( Everyone has different tastes so a game that a lot of people like might be dreadfully boring to someone else. But I think I might go ahead with Phoenix Wright. It's hilarious, fun, and really easy to pick up. It's pretty much a point-and-click adventure so it's not like there's a control barrier to get past. It's also pretty plot-based so it's a good introduction to the idea that games can be a bit more than just "get from point A to point B" or "kill the other guy".

Day 10 - Best gameplay:
I've honestly never had much of a problem with gameplay and if I did I probably didn't beat the game in it's entirely. So... Pokemon, Tales of Symphonia, Phoenix Wright, etc etc. /probably answered this question completely wrong hurr.

Day 11 - Gaming system of choice:
Uh... Nintendo Products. Microsoft and (especially) Sony products seem to hate me while other than my DS that needs replacing I've never really had to replace any of my nintendo products. Sony I've killed two PS2s and Mircrosoft I apparently killed my brother's 360.

Day 12 - A game everyone should play:
Tales of Symphonia This question is pretty hard to answer because there are so many genres of games. I'd say it really depends on what type of genre the person is looking for. Might just follow what Erica said and say 'Phoenix Wright' for the reasons she stated though. And Tales of Symphonia

Day 13 - A game you've played more than five times

Tales of Symphonia is one that I have played the most out of my gaming life. Followed by Pokemon (Just because of the different games), Silent Hill 2 and so on.

Day 13 - A game you've played more than five times

It would have to be Pokémon. I just think that it's the only game that can keep fresh after so many "remakes". So yeah. I never restart because I'm like "not doing that shiz over again"

Day 11: Gaming System of choice

PS3. It's backwards compatible with PS1 games, which I play A LOT, and truth being told, it has more games I'm interested in. My 3DS is my handheld of choice, though. Mostly because of Pokemon, and, like the PS3, it has more games that interest me (when you throw in regular DS games, anyway)

Day 12: A game everyone should play

Hmm. Outside of Nintendo's things, I can't really think of anything o-o It really just depends on what genre a person is interested in.

Day 13: A game you've played more than five times

I have a feeling Pokemon will end up being a big one here, so I'm going to go a different route.

Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. Not that impressive, as a person could sit down and literally beat it in a few hours if they tried, but yeah. What can I say? I freaking love this game and the others in the series.

Day 12 - A game everyone should play

There are plenty of great games everyone should play, and i'm not going to go naming all of theme because there are too many.

Day 13 - A game you've played more than five times

Resident Evil 4 is probably my most replayed game. On the GameCube, where I first played it, I beat Normal twice, Professional once, and almost beat Mercenaries with all stars. Then on the PS3, I beat the game again three times on Normal, Six times on Professional, Three runs of Seperate Ways, and unlocked everything. After that, I sold both my PS3 and GameCube copy for the Wii version and then beat Normal once, Professional seven times, Seperate Ways four times, and unlocked everything again. I ended up selling my Wii copy and buying it back, and I have only played it for a little while once I did. Then I purchased the HD version of Resident Evil 4 on the PS3, and beat the game twice on Normal, twice on Professional, once on Seperate Ways, and almost unlocked everything until I was forced to reformat my PS3 and purchase a new hard drive... I am now currently almost done with a playthough on Normal because I had to start fresh again, and I have been too lazy to finish it and play through Professional, even though I easily could do a speedrun.

I've played way too much RE4 for my own good...

Day 13 - A game you've played more than five times

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow is one of many. As my first game in the series, it did its job admirably in getting me hooked on the series. While it most certainly isn't my favourite, it's easy enough for me to pick up and play, all the while pummeling my way through enemies and beating the game with haste and ease.

it's not even close to tomorrow here, lol. oh well.

Day 13 - A game you've played more than five times

I... I don't know if I've played any game more than five times. o_O; Even KH:BBS I've only played through 4 times in full. (Although if you add up the extra files I've done, I have like ~5.6 playthroughs.) Tales of the Abyss is another 4 and I think KH2 might be as well, but I'm pretty sure that's it. I'm obviously not counting really short games or puzzle game with no real end (lookin' at you, Tetris) but for longer games that I'd actually consider for this question... yeah. I think 4 is my max.

(Also not counting Pokemon because I consider each gen to be different games. :x)

Day 11: Gaming System of choice
I have fond nostalgia for my N64.

Day 12: A game everyone should play
No idea. Whatever genre floats your boat and then play the typical "greatest" game in that genre or the one of historical significance. Know your roots.

Day 13: A game you've played more than five times
Gosh, a small handful... but I'll say The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Banjo-Kazooie, because I've probably played those closer to ten times. At least seven.

Day 12

Well, I know a game more people should have played: Shenmue. It has a small cult following, so it's not really underrated, but because it's for the Dreamcast many people didn't get to try this unique gaming experience.

Day 13

Aside from pokemon which I restarted countless times, I think it's probably Chrono Cross. It's usually one and done for me unless a game has multiple endings or characters to use and it happens to have both. (Even if I went for the same ending every time, lol.)

Bandwagoning late!

Day 13 - A game you've played more than five times: The Wind Waker. I just love that game, it was the first 3D Zelda I played and I still love all of it. I'd play through it again.

Day 14 - Current (or most recent) gaming wallpaper

Good lord! Believe it or not, this actually takes me back quite a few years. At the time a friend of mine had gotten Super Smash Bros. Brawl — a game in which both of us were completely obsessed with at the time. Such an obsession led to me making this my computer's wallpaper:

Day 13
Probably Zelda: Majora's Mask. I didn't have much N64 games, as I got mine late in it's release, and I was still buying lots of SNES games. One of the 6-7 that I had was a Majora's Mask I got from a garage sale. It was in perfectly fine condition, (not glitched like the creepypasta, thought I totally wish it was!) and I loved it. I played it a good 5 or 6 times through, and still do so today.

Day 13:

Would have to go with FFX again on this one. I am always playing it and completing it. Modern warfare 2 compelted 3 times on Veteran aswell. Just for fun.

Day 14: I have one currently of Serah from FFXIII Didn't like her in XIII-2 as much.

Day 14

My desktop background is usually from some video game. :D

Spoiler:

Been rockin' this Earthbound pic of Fourside ever since I finally got around to finishing it back in December. Obviously, the city looks nothing like this in-game, but it's still pretty awesome and imaginative.

Day 14 - Current (or most recent) gaming wallpaper
My wallpapers are almost always gaming-related. I've cut the size down and only have screencaps since I was too lazy to go searching my hard drives, but I should have the originals of all of these if anyone wants. :D

Design-wise or character-wise? I'm 50/50 on her design in both games (don't really have a favourite) but I didn't feel she had a personality or anything until the second game when she actually got some screentime. :P
