Welcome to Video Game's Poll of the Week! Thanks to the permission of Pokemon General's moderator Brendino, Video Games will now be hosting a weekly series that pits certain video game characters, levels, and universes against other to see which one will come out on top! In last week's Poll of the Week, Mario Kart 8 used a Crazy 8 to cruise right by the competition as PC's favorite Mario Kart games!

Don't just vote; expand on your answers! Tell us why you prefer one video game element over another! Posts that don't elaborate as to why specific elements were chosen will be deleted, and a warning may be given out through an infraction if it's a reoccurring issue.

Civ IV remains one of my all-time favorite games, but Civ V is coming up on its heels as I find myself really enjoying the newest (not counting BE) one. It's all-around good and fun and I love playing online with my pals here on PC.

Mmm, I've played CiV 2, 3 and 4, in which I really enjoyed CiV 3 since I've played it with some family a couple of times! 2 & 4 were pretty fun too, but, I just had a lot more fun memories with 3. :3

Civ V hands down. I've clocked over 220 hours of it since I bought it about 8 months ago and I'm still yet to be bored. That being said, I tend to play games that are modded up the wazoo, but I love all aspects of the game anyway.
I would love to play with some other people though as I am getting a bit tired of fighting myself and the AI! Most of my friends don't have the time to play it nowadays and I'm just so good :(

I bought Beyond Earth the day it came out and I'm yet to beat one game of it :/

When it comes to the games in the games in the Civilization series, I have played III, IV, Revolution, V, and Beyond Earth. Course when it comes to my favorite one, my number one favorite is actually one of the expansions for IV. The one I am referring to is Civilization IV Beyond the Sword. Course there have been times while playing where I have "stacked the deck." For example I recall one time I "stacked the deck" and ended up winning a Diplomatic victory in the year 200 AD.

For me personally, I am a huge fan of Civ III and Civ V. Civ III is probably the number one game that I've clocked in your wise, and it was an immensely popular game for my brother and I to play together. Plus, I've always been a fan of the graphic style of Civ III and just have been unable to become as comfortable with the later gen graphics.
