Nabbed a copy of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker on eBay, and this month got Kingdoms of Amalur: Rereckoning, Stranger Sword City/Saviour of Sapphire Wings, and Monster Hunter Rise coming this month :3

...all of which I probably will not play right away because I'm bogged down in Bravely Default 2. xD

I sorta feel this way with mine. I feel like I've been around just long enough for people to learn my name and it could seem strange to change it.

I can relate to this. There are a couple previous usernames I've dropped because I feel like they don't fit me and I needed that change. Stuff like that has a negative impact on me, but I also think I act a slightly different way with a new profile pic to try and match it, but hey maybe I'm just like that.
 
I usually just use characters I like, or things relating to them.
Back in my teen years, my usernames were cringe.
 
It's like a rite of passage to have a cringe username on a forum in your teens xD
 
Funnily enough when I started joining my first forums (and Showdown) I was already past that - sort of - and would already use "Cyaloom", but I still had time to use super cringy Minecraft usernames 🙃

I was absolutely feral at 16 so I guess the subject of username fit me.
 
I remember being very arrogant and obnoxious when I was a teenager...I suppose not too much has changed. xD
 
I can be obnoxious if I haven't slept.
But then again it's likely more of a "this is happening because you're sleep deprived" thing.
 
ngl Ahtal-Ka's third phase theme is one of my favourite tracks from MHGU :3

I am actually dreading Rise, if only because I just know that as soon as I start playing it I will probably put 8-10 hours a day into it until god knows when. Probably until I have every Guild Card achievement again. Goodbye, 300+ hours of my life D:
 
That's part of the fun of it! I haven't gone for guild card achievements really, but I've been trying to do every singleplayer quest in MHGU like I did in 4U and it's been fun. I'm super interested in Rise because it seems to be similar to World from what I'm hearing, which I never played.
 
This is true, although there are some things - crown faming, the arena quests, and certain G4 deviant hunts...and the very existence of Rajang - that are about as far away from fun as it gets I think. xD

World still has a super active player base, so there's still time if you were ever interested :o
I'm more interested in Stories 2 than Rise, but I expect I'll put more time into Rise than I have into anything on my Switch...except maybe MHGU and Hyrule Warriors. Maybe.
