    There is a feature of BW2 that is Easy Mode and ]Hard Mode. These modes changes how the pace of the game state such as trainers becomes more challenging and make it less less harder. or challenging mode (if I recall correctly)

    what is there is new changeling twist such as Nuzlocke mode in a main series, do you fancy on playing it?

    do you mean what if there's a nuzlocke mode?

    i mean, i'd certainly give it a shot, but i don't go out of my way to nuzlocke as it isn't something i'm too interested in :c

    Yes, I meant that mode as for me I might not too kin with the rules it have

    I think many pokemon fans have always wanted to choose easy/normal/hard mode and I m def one of them. BW2 tried to introduce hard mode but it wasn't actually hard. I think that making hard mode a "nuzlocke mode" isn't a good idea. Pokemon is a versatile game, u can do whatever u want and itherefore u can play each run in the way u prefer. Nuzlocke mode would kinda ruin that feeling. Nuzlocke isn't always synonym of hard. It's more difficult because u play with a malus. I m looking for something challenging, instead. The Hard mode I want would be more keen on the competitve. So, traiers and gym leaders with an actual strategy, good items and so on. Also, a better AI to control the battles with trainers. That's the hard mode I wish we could have at some point.

    Nuzlocke isn't hard on its own, it's just punishing. Even a Nuzlocke can be a joke if you play with free switch on KO, use broken things like Snorlax or certain guaranteed gift Pokémon, allow yourself Potions and stat boosting items, skip certain tricky double battles, etc. You need to add a few extra rules and restrictions to make it actually hard, that's why "Hardlocke" and other variants were created.

    I prefer genuine and fair challenge over punishment. I welcome difficult battles, I'm fine with failing, rethinking my strategy and retrying multiple times, but I don't like the idea that each time one of my Pokémon faints I have to waste time levelling another. That's not really fun, and let's be honest, how many people would actually do Nuzlockes if it wasn't for Rare Candy cheats?

    I think there are just better and more fun ways of increasing the difficulty of a Pokémon game than adding Nuzlocke rules.

    yeah I'd give it a try, but just because I like the sense of realism and consequence that character death adds to the game.
    Not so much the restrictive mon choice.

    I definitely would use this if it existed! Using various different teams and playing the games in new ways has always interested me, even if I hardly do challenges normally. But if we could have an official mode where we can set our own rules that the game would force on you throughout playing it would be very enjoyable. So long as I can find ways to turn them off if I end up struggling too much and changing my mind aha (probably won't happen though). :D;

    I generally play with some self-imposed rules which are inspired by the Hardcore Nuzlocke rules, just without the actual core Nuzlocke rules of permadeath and only being able to catch the first mon on each route.

    In short, I always put battle style to set, ban the use of healing items in battle (held items are ok) and try my best to stay within the level cap of the next gym leader's ace.

    Nuzlocke, no? I don't like rulesets that allow you to lose the whole save, as opposed to the occasional battle. And to be honest, Nuzlockes just kinda have 8 year old playing Mario Maker and making """hard""" levels that are just poorly designed energy to me.

    A hard mode a la a Drayano hack or Radical Red, sure, that sounds like it could be fun. But Nuzlockes? Miss me with them.

    nuzlocke rules I can enforce myself, but I'm definitely dying for officially induced difficulties. it's annoying to search for the rom hacks with specific rules and then anything I catch most likely isn't legal - and I like transferring my champions to modern games.
