    I'm going with Palpitoad because it worked well with Ash during the Club Battle Tournament. I felt that Phanpy evolved into Donphan rather late (Ash got it in Johto, but it didn't evolve until the Battle Frontier).
     
    Donphan only because it is one of my favorite Pokemon visually but i don't really care for the anime version.
     
    I just finished watching the Don Battle Tournament and I do not hesitate by choosing Palpitoad. The first time I saw this Pokemon...I was grossed out :\ then after seeing Ash use it in-battle, i was rather amused. I just love it. Donphan was really good though...but...Priorities....
     
    Well, this is quite a tough one really isn't it? Palpitoad has pretty much already proven itself to be a very powerful member of Ash's team, though with Donphan, he's been a member of Ash's Pokémon for quite a while now, and it certainly has proven what it can do.

    As for now, I'll probably go for Palpitoad anyway, seeing as I somewhat like it's personality. I always just thought, Donphan was just... there. It only had it's chance to shine in the Battle Frontier, in which we just saw it evolve it had a few battles but that was it. It didn't get much time in Johto either.
     
    What Mew said pretty much sums Donphan up. It was just there... As Phanphy it was the cute baby that really didn't battle, then Ash used it for Frontier woot woot. Scraggy seems to have more progression thus far as Phanphy did from baby to where it is at now.

    I'd like to see more of Palpitoad outside of battles which he has performed well in thus far. I did enjoy him at the swap, so maybe we can see more of him like that.
     
    Donphan was pretty cool, and added a super special awesome plot-twist after the Hoenn saga, but Palpitoad is the BAWS. It's (probably) Ash's strongest Unova Pokémon right now, but I could be wrong.
     
    I prefer Donphan. It's not really fair though, since I've only seen Palpitoad in one or two episodes so far (I won't watch the subtitled anime, so I'm waiting of it airing on CITV). I just like Donphan as a Pokémon more anyway.
     
    I really love both of them, actually. I'm not sure why I have such a strong liking towards Donphan, it's not a Pokémon I would normally want, and I really don't like Phanpy. However, I have a high bias towards fifth generation Pokémon, mainly because of it being my favorite generation, so I chose him over Donphan. ^^;
     
    Donphan ! I'm suprised that Palpitoad has more votes than it. This pokémon is just frightening, I can't bear it :pink_no: But when it'll evolve it'll be even worse.
    So, to came bach to Donphan, I'm not especially fan of this Pokémon, but between them both, I choose it. Moreover I appreciate its design, characteristic of 2nd gen.
     
    Donphan, it was cute as a Phanpy when it didn't know it's own strenghth and Donphan is one of my favourite pokemon.
     
    I like Palpitoad and the main reason why is becuase of how well the two worked out together in the BW don battle tournament. Palpitoad did a nice job taken out the Pokemon during the battle and it also showed how strong it was in the gym leader battle. Donphan is alright, I was never a huge fan of it so Palpitoad gets my vote.
     
    LOL I always hated palpitoad, but after seeing that picture at the top of the page, it looks pretty sweet.

    I used to really like Donphan, but I'm liking it less and less lately. Tough call though
     
    Donphan! <3 It's sooo strong and such a cool Pokemon. ^^ I wish it had evolved earlier though, taking so long so evolve really didn't give it much time to develop the Donphan side of its character. D: It was soooo cute as a Phanpy though! I don't really like Palpitoad much though, it's a bit... ew. xD
     
    I know more donphan because he is being longer time, that's why i vote for him. But i have to say that Palpitoad is one of my favs ash pokemon this series
     
    I pick Donphan because he is a powerful strong pokemon even as a Phanpy he prove how strong he really was in the Johto League,too bad Phanpy was caught way too late in Johto he could have been used a lot more.

    I like Palpitoad he is a cool Pokemon, i find him to be great in the BW series,but my vote goes to Donphan.

    Donphan because in my opinoin, it is stronger than Palpitoad and it appearance is better than Palpitoad anyways.
