Dude, I HATED family photos as a kid. It would be a Christmas day where me, my siblings and cousins could enjoy pretending we were super heroes, but NOPE! "IT'S TIME FOR A FAMILY PHOTO KIDS!!" my mum would say. Then the adults would be like: "Let's do a photo with just the children", "Ok, now one with just the parents", "Now another one with the cousins", "Now let's do one with the children and the grandparents", and it would just go on and on taking photo after photo, pose after pose, "say cheese" after "say cheese" and my 8-or-so-year old self would just be mad, asking my parents "are we done now?" and they'd just respond "No, sweetheart, we are now doing one with your dad's extended family" or something. It was the worst. Still is. I love photography, but man, can't we just do one with everyone instead of multiple ones with random different sets of people? Wouldn't it be way nicer and less time consuming? But I guess some people just want their phone gallery full of Christmas photos. Agree.
Some subjects you learn in school are very useless.
