What's with all the nicknames with your answers in here? And why don't I have one?
Just using usernames was boring and annoying cause some of y'all have a long one. And you has now.

Favorite place to visit in Alabama?
................Target. If you mean Alabama specific places then um...ha. Hahahahahahahahaha.

Favorite plushie you own?
That's tough, cause I have almost 30. Gonna call it a threeway tie between Michelle the Eevee, Togekisses the...well lol, and Midnight the Umbreon. Eevee was my first plushie and I've had her since I was 6. I take her to all doctor appointments and such. Which isn't a lot, but ya know. Togekiss is one that my dad bought me and during the time I was staying with my maw maw after my paw paw had passed away (I lived with him btw), all my stuff was still at his place and I was really scared someone would come steal my stuff and I was really, really worried about the Togekiss in particular. And Umbreon is my Christmas present from my boyfriend. I've wanted an Umbreon for years and yeah.

Oh God, that nickname for me is hysterical. XD

By places in Alabama I meant attractions and such, but yeah that works lol.

What other Pokemon merch do you own besides plushies and the games?

How long have you been into Pokemon?

How long have you been dating your current boyfriend? How'd you guys met?

No interesting attractions in Alabama, hate to say. Cept some awesome restaurants, if that counts.

What other Pokemon merch do you own besides plushies and the games?
I have some figurines and posters...I think that's really it. I have a shirt with Mew on it too and some TCG badges from gen II that I keep in my Victini tin. And then all those cards. Haha.

How long have you been into Pokemon?
Pretty much since it came to the US. I forced myself into it cause my best friend liked it. Funny how something I made myself like is my favorite series and franchise to this day, ain't it?

How long have you been dating your current boyfriend? How'd you guys met?
A year and...something. You quit counting months once you get to a certain point, lol. We met cause I saw his face in band and I was like "that...I'm going to date that" which was never how I got a boyfriend before but oh well. We met for real at a friend's apartment when we were all playing games. Imagine my excitement when I saw him playing White!

What kind of sleeves do you use to protect your cards?

How often do you buy new Pokemon cards?

How do you store them?

What kind of sleeves do you use to protect your cards?
I have some orange ones that I use to put extra rares in from sets that I'm collecting. They're set aside for trading with someone, hopefully for other cards of that set. Those go in my Plasma Storm deck box, as that's all I'm collecting now. Just started collecting Plasma Freeze, but I'll probably put them in the same box.

How often do you buy new Pokemon cards?
Usually after every paycheck on Friday. $20 worth is generally what happens.

How do you store them?
Already mentioned my extra rares, so the extra commons and uncommons from sets I'm collecting go into a clear plastic deck box type of thing. My holos, promos, favorite non-holos, and sets I'm collecting go into my big binder. I need a new binder for my Plasma stuff that I'm collecting, though. I don't like it being in with my blob of a collection, haha. Cards that are not holo and that are bleh and old and I don't care about anymore go in my card drawer, neatly of course. I store decks in old tins.

What is the best and worst thing about your height?

Assuming you've taught some classes before, what is the worst punishment you've ever dished out to a problematic student?

What is the best and worst thing about your height?
Being short goes with my adorableness. But people also feel the need to point it out. Like, I'll be standing around, minding my own business, and someone tells me "Hey! You're short!" Really?! No way! Never noticed! Thanks! :| idk why people tell me that, cause I mean, there are people shorter. lol

Assuming you've taught some classes before, what is the worst punishment you've ever dished out to a problematic student?
I've never taught a class at all, as I'm no where near qualified haha.

How qualified do you need to be to teach a class? Do you think it'd be helpful if you were given more hands-on experience with teaching?

I just ask because one of my friends is doing a teaching course at university and he's only in first year and has been teaching classes for a while now. I guess they have a much more experience-based way of learning or something.

Also - what do you think makes a really good teacher, and what makes a really bad teacher?

Do you miss the Pokémon Special/Adventures fanclub? ;)
I miss the people, can't say I miss the club too much because I got inactive. Makes me mad it was closed though, because all the regulars like...disappeared after that. :/ And they didn't even go to the manga subforum in PG. They just left. :(

kid

There's a crap ton of things you have to do before you are even allowed to like...help in a classroom, let alone teach it. There's fingerprinting, interviewing with the college of ed, taking the test to get IN to the college of ed...so much. I really think it'd help if there wasn't so much emphasis on tests and more emphasis on getting experience, though you do get a lot of chances the further you get into the major, like with observations, praticum I and II, and then student teaching. So yeah, you do get the experience. I feel the same about tests in education period though, lol.

It's cause y'all are cooler, duh. lol

Also - what do you think makes a really good teacher, and what makes a really bad teacher?
There's...a lot that goes with it. The short(er...lol) version is that...well, a bad teacher kind of just...doesn't care. They may not teach to the fullest, they may not help the struggling students, they may just treat you like utter crap. I haven't had a teacher that bad, but I've heard horror stories. So I can't say much from experience on what makes a bad teacher, but unfortunately, when you're in high school, if students that don't care have a bad teacher, it's probably their favorite one. A bad teacher can sometimes be that fun one you liked in 10th grade that never made you do work and gave you easy as pie worksheets. :P What they tell us here is that if you can't give 100% in this profession, you need to get out of it before you get too far in. Cause it's not for everyone.

As for what makes a good teacher, definitely someone that cares about their students, in the classroom and out. One that encourages and helps and...maybe, in a sense, goes above and beyond sometimes even out of what we're "supposed" to do. Like how teachers apparently aren't supposed to intervene with some forms of bullying. That sure as hell ain't happenin' in my class. That just ain't right. Although rules are important, some rules were meant to break and if you see that kind of crap, hey, there's your queue. Where was I? Rambling? Oh yes. Positive reinforcement is good too.

I'm just rambling okay I'm tired from work but...idk. Be more than a teacher. Be an educator. Be a mentor. Be a helpful hand. Be a friend. Because you never know which kids go home to nothing and no love or discipline. They all need it. It's part of why we're here. :)

What's something that always makes you laugh?

Have you ever tried to learn another language?

Where do you see yourself in ten years?

I know some French. I can read and write it better than speak it, though.

Where do you see yourself in ten years?
Damn, I ain't even doing what I thought I'd be doing ten years ago when I was asked this. I think it's best not to predict the future lol. But if I had to guess, I'm sure I'd be married, maybe one child, and I'd be a teacher. I'd still be in this state and idk who in the world I'd be married to, and tbh that is wishful thinking haha.

I was gonna wait and let some questions build up, but apparently it's hard to ask me things after 5 pages, haha.

Do you like living IN AMERICA!
Sometimes. lol The only thing that I really have going for me here is that my family is here and most of my online friends are also American, making it more likely I can actually go visit them sometimes. Other than that though, I'm not always happy being here. I really miss being in London.

Do you think it is more "normal" for guys to like and play video games than for girls?

What is your favorite song?

What is that kitten in your sig and why does it make me feel so calm?

Not in today's age, no. I think originally, video games were more marketed towards boys than girls, but nowadays, I think it's pretty gender neutral. I also don't like the term gamer girl. If you're a girl that plays games, that's great. If you're a guy that plays games, that's great. We're all gamers here, let's not even start to bring gender into it and make a big deal about it. That's what I think, anyway. :) As more of a Nintendo person though, and not really much into online play, I can't speak for what happens with how girls are treated on xbox live. From the stories I've read so far though, I would be swearing so many people out lmfao. Some people need to get over that girls play games that "aren't for girls". And that's just fine.

What is your favorite song?
Favorite song of all time is Arizona by Kings of Leon. I don't listen to it anymore, because it makes me sad. But I could never find it in me to replace it because it means a lot to me. It's beautiful. You should listen to it, if you have the time. Not many people know it. Fix You by Coldplay is a very close second though. Now that, I can listen to over and over and over. I want to use it when I get married. lol Screw the wedding march, I'm coming out to that.

That's the calming cat! No joke, that's what it's called. So if it makes you feel calm, it's doing its job. :3

How and where would you want to spend your honeymoon?
I'm not big on travelling, so I don't really know or care. I would probably let my husband decide, as long as it's not a camping trip. If I had to pick though, I guess New Orleans. Because...food. Purely for food.

Arizona by Kings of Leon.
I listened. I liked it :3

Seriously, it's called that? Oh yeah. Just googled it. That's kind of awesome.
