The data of the HDD of the ocean is corrupted. Many files were altered. You've probably fished one of those files, the RGB data was incomplete and only the red pixels remain. You're lucky, you could have fished a dangerous file that could spread its corruption!

I actually don't do anything. It might strike you as a surprise but I do programming for a living. I know how awfull the coding is that people produce. Even if the robots start to revolt: they will fall apart sooner than later because of some stupid programming error someone made. or end up in an infinite loop or start dancing around or doing anything stupid like that.
