I think I have a decent team. It's kind of a knock off of other teams, but I tried being original with it, so here it goes. Lemme know what you think...

The Overview

The Details and What Not...

[PokeCommunity.com] Battle Tower (Information, Discussion, etc - like your neighborhood Ursaring)

Latios [Timid Nature, +Spd, -Atk] Focus Sash
4 EVs HP, 252 EVs Sp.Atk, 252 EVs Speed
Surf
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
Psychic

The same strategy as the common Starmie lead is used here. Amazing coverage to OHKO most opponents. Latios is just all around better in every stat though, except defense. The Sp.Atk and speed will be higher with Timid Nature, but only the Sp.Atk will be higher with Modest Nature, and Speed is one of the more important parts. With Focus Sash, it's almost always guaranteed at least 2 attacks, [the exception being when you get OHKO'd, hang on with Focus Sash, then take damage from Hail/Sandstorm], though if Wise Glasses or Choice Specs are swapped with Focus Sash, you may not even need the second attack. Personally, I'd go with Focus Sash.

Umbreon [Bold or Impish Nature, +Def, -Atk/Sp.Atk] Lum Berry
252 EVs HP 128 EVs Def 128 EVs Sp.Def
Yawn
Substitute
Confuse Ray
Baton Pass

Strategy is pretty much Sleep and Sweep from here. Yawn first turn, Confuse Ray second turn to get rid of Lum Berries, or just to hassle the enemy. While they sleep or before they do instead of Confuse Ray, make a Substitute, then Baton Pass the Substitute to Kabutops. The downfall of using Umbreon for Sleep and Sweep is that if the opponent uses Toxic, Thunder Wave, or Will-o-Wisp, etc, Umbreon passes the respective status effect to the opponent due to Synchronize. Lum Berry gets rid of the status effect, making it so your opponent can sleep.

Kaputops [Adamant Nature, +Atk, -Sp.Atk] Muscle Band
4 EVs HP, 252 EVs Atk, 252 EVs Sp.Def
Swords Dance
Subsitute
Aqua Jet
Night Slash

Now, when Kabutops comes out, it should be through a Baton Pass from Umbreon, so it should be safe for a turn or two while your opponent sleeps. Swords Dance while the Substitute is up, and Aqua Jet when it goes down. Aqua Jet with STAB gets 60 Power, and with Muscle Band, it gets another boost. Night Slash has good coverage that Aqua Jet has trouble with, and also has that nice High Critical Hit Ratio. Even Against Pokemon that resist both Water and Dark, like Shiftry, Cacturne, Sharpedo, Crawdaunt, Empoleon, Poliwrath, and Breloom, you can still get good damage if 2 or 3 Swords Dances are used. The reason 252 Sp.Def EVs are used, is to balance its defenses for the Subsitute, especially if one is Baton Passed from Umbreon, but this might not be the smartest move. =/

Togekiss @ Leftovers
Calm
252 HP / 64 Sp Def / 192 Speed

Nasty Plot
Air Slash/Encore
Baton Pass
Roost

Wouldn't this set be much better? because he's pretty Bulky, and can take quite a few hits, also he can just roost it off, so I am thinking this set is much better....

Sure but if you wanna do that.it's ok i guess but go for encore>>>air slash then you can encore a poke who uses a non-attacking move and NP as many times and BP.Try it out.

I'm looking for suggestions for my DP Battle Tower team. I've been using this team with some varying degrees of success and got to a streak of about 77 but I got killed by something using trick room and then a Jynx killed me with Focus Blast, psychic, and ice beam.

[PokeCommunity.com] Battle Tower (Information, Discussion, etc - like your neighborhood Ursaring)

Gengar @ Life Orb
Timid +Spe, -Atk
6 hp/252 SpAtk/252 Spe

Hypnosis
Shadow Ball
Focus Blast
Thunderbolt

This is my lead. Love it cause it can OHKO or badly hurt most pokemon. Works great with heatran as they cover nearly all of each other's weaknesses. Thinking about dropping hypnosis for maybe destiny bond or something, I'm up for suggestions.

[PokeCommunity.com] Battle Tower (Information, Discussion, etc - like your neighborhood Ursaring)

Heatran @ Choice Scarf
Rash +SpAtk, -SpDef
6 hp/252 SpAtk/252 Spe

Flamethrower
Earth Power
Dragon Pulse
Explosion

Works great with Gengar, and covers Garchomp's ice weakness and resists dragon as well. Choice scarf lets it outspeed most pokemon. Explosion to get rid of a threat that I'm not cofident i could beat otherwise.

[PokeCommunity.com] Battle Tower (Information, Discussion, etc - like your neighborhood Ursaring)

Garchomp @ Yache Berry
Jolly +Spe, -SpAtk
6 hp/252 Atk/252 Spe

Swords Dance
Outrage
Earthquake
Fire Fang

Swords dance on Garchomp when I can and use earthquake/outrage, only use fire fang for those odd skarmories and bronzongs. Yache berry so that he can usually take an ice attack as well. Usually switch into him when I expect a t-wave or other electric attack.

I'm up for any suggestions for any other additions or changes I should make with these pokemon.

You know i find this very hard to believe =/

i was waiting for someone to say that lol.i mean i cant see it getting past palmer.

listen to yourself a flawless shiney?what are your chances with a perfect nature..

Guys, this isn't a debate about hacks. I don't even see why they're a huge issue if the BT uses Perfect IVs.

Does anyone reckon CM Luke could run some Bulk effectively? Mence and it have great typing, but Lucario can't take hits.

Trying to make Lucario bulky is kind of like trying to make Heracross into a special sweeper...don't. IT can actually take even very powerful resisted hits if it runs max HP/max (s)def, but then you won't be able to hurt anything and it just isn't worth it. There are better bulky Calm Minders (Suicune being the best if you can get it, of course).

If you just want a bulky Steel-type attacker, then use Metagross or something to that effect. Calm Mind Lucario (regardless of its EV set) just isn't any...good.

Individual rate in bold, overall at end.

Oh, and my qualification/tips, copy/pasted from a psot I made over at the Serebii Forums

'll try to help. I've gotten up to 123 wins in Single battles, so I'll see if I can help you out. While you don't need EVERYTHING listed here, every little bit helps. Some thanks to Jumpman from Smogon and the Something Awful forums, who got 400+ wins in the BT:

Accuracy: There are many Double Team abusers. You'll want a Pokemon to carry Aerial Ace or Shadow Punch or Swift or something like that. If you can get it on a Pokemon that uses it well (STAB, Technician), great, if not, don't worry. Sure, you MIGHT hit them with your more powerful STAB attack, or you might get stalled to death.

Sturdy: OHKO absorber. During my best streak, I went without one. However, I got lucky.

Unfortunately, there aren't many to choose from in this area. Magnezone and Skarmory are your best bets.

Bulk: Pokemon that can carry some bulk and take a hit or two while being able to fight are a great asset. Sometimes you'll be able to do a ton of set up, so it's nice to have a Scizor who can take 3 ice beams while it sets up three swords dances.

Status: Find a way to absorb status, especially since the BT will start using status that is bad for your starter to have. Start with someone who's electric weak? Have a ground backup. Tyranitar? Bring out Starmie or Vaporeon.

Or just get someone who uses Natural Cure or RestTalk.

Cover your weaknesses: On my winning team, every single SE hit on one Pokemon was either resisted or immune on at least one team mate. I had Garchomp, Starmie, and Scizor.

Gengar @ Life Orb
Timid +Spe, -Atk
6 hp/252 SpAtk/252 Spe

Hypnosis
Shadow Ball
Focus Blast
Thunderbolt

It's a fine lead, and it's weaknesses are covered by Heatrans. Destiny Bond can be replaced over Focus Blast or Hypnosis. It'll net you a kill against Tyranitar who'll otherwise OHKO you. The only problem is Weavile who usually carries Brick Break.

Regardless of what set you go with, Energy Ball is a move to consider. I tend to encounter a lot of Water/Ground types.

Heatran @ Choice Scarf

Dragon Pulse
Explosion

Standard, nothing wrong, covers team-mate's weaknesses.

[PokeCommunity.com] Battle Tower (Information, Discussion, etc - like your neighborhood Ursaring)

Garchomp @ Yache Berry
Jolly +Spe, -SpAtk
6 hp/252 Atk/252 Spe

Swords Dance
Outrage
Earthquake
Fire Fang

Forget the set up. With Chomp's unique speed tier, just Band it. It'll outrun so much in the first 60 or so battles, and later you can switch it over to Scarf when you get into more glass cannon situations.

Aerial Ace can go into SD's slot, as you need something to hit with accuracy. Dragon+Fire+Ground nets perfect coverage, and you'll need Fire Fang for the Scizor and Abomosnow's that pop up every now and then.

Swords dance on Garchomp when I can and use earthquake/outrage, only use fire fang for those odd skarmories and bronzongs. Yache berry so that he can usually take an ice attack as well. Usually switch into him when I expect a t-wave or other electric attack.

Problems with the team:

No way to reliably abosrb or abuse status. Toxic is covered, as is Thunder Wave paralysis, but sleep could screw you over, and the coverage you do have is situational. It's better to have a guranteed status absorber. Natural Cure, RestTalk, or Sub sets can all work wonders.

Not a lot of bulk. Chomp has natural bulk, and Heatran carries some resistancies, but I like to put some EVs into defensive stats in the BT as it gives my Pokes a chance to set up.

But this team is a good start.
