Blanket Forts!

I made one not too long ago! Not exactly sure why I did but I was like eh why not? It brought back many memories as a child where my brothers and I used to make these for fun :')

My twin and I made a huge blanket fort that covered our entire room. It was a pain to pick up, but man it was so worth it, haha.

I don't think so, but I did used to have a camping tent in my room once. I would always sleep in it nearly every night instead of my actual bed. Sometimes, I still wish I could do that... but sadly, my room isn't big enough for such a thing. :(

When I used to have a bunk bed (the top was for things like stuffed animals and the like, it was actually far too hot up there to sleep), my parents tucked a light blanket into the wooden side panel to give me the effect of having a 'tent' in my room. Sadly, it didn't quite work out as well as I wanted it to...

Also, I didn't grow up as a normal or typical child. I do think I tried to make one once, but it didn't really work out because I didn't do it right. D:

I used to but when I turned 13 I decided I was done with such childish things.

And by that I mean I I was too tall to do that anymore.

Blanket forts were bitchin'. I used to destroy our livingroom as a kid.

Blanket forts were the best! I made them all the time with my little sister.

Now that I think about it...I kind of want one now lol.

For the most part my blankets were always too big and heavy to build forts with. And I never had enough pillows or stuffed animals to make a pillow fort with. The last time I made a blanket fort I was in like first grade or so and my friend brought over like 20 pillows.

I haven't built a blanket fort in ages but me and my sister would always gather underneath them with torches, books, snacks and video games and it'd be the coolest thing. Might build one again after seeing this thread. 8)

    ALSO PILLOW FORTS

I will have you know that blanket forts are also an awesome thing to do on a date.
