    Everyone gets bored. This thread is all about boredom. Where are you when you're most bored? How do you defeat your own boredom? Any strategies to snap yourself out of that weary state?

    I get most bored when I'm at class because I have limited options to fix my boredom. During class I'm not allowed to talk to my friends so I have nothing to do when I'm bored aside from think or hum to myself and that gets boring fast. ;_;

    When I'm bored at home I have more options to relieve my boredom. I sing, listen to music, watch interesting videos, talk to friends, and sometimes I even walk around the room on my hands or do a bunch of cartwheels just because it's kinda fun. :p


     
    Generally at home I get pretty bored. Sure there's 'a lot of things to do' but most of those things don't hold substance when you've done them a thousand times because you have nothing else to do.

    Usually I just bugger off to some more sociable part of the internet and try to find somebody to talk to for a while if I get really bored.
     
    I'm usually at home when bored too, as when I'm out I usually have things to do. At home though if there's nothing to do online I usually get quite bored.
    When I'm bored I may just nap or browse youtube videos.

    You can accomplish great things out of boredom. I wouldn't have found this forum if I wasn't bored xD

     
    To be honest, I realize I haven't been bored much lately. I've always been so busy, whether it be classes (all my classes are pretty damn interesting, thank god), work (tutoring, so I don't really have a chance to be bored), or just doing stuff, be it with my girlfriend or with my friends. Never a dull moment lmao. I guess I do get bored when I end up staying home, although if that's the case, I'm usually on Facebook or on the phone talking to someone.

    i'm always a little bit bored.

    but like you said, it's helpful to have boredom cause you actually do stuff.
     
    I get bored the most when I'm by myself. I find it hard to be bored when I'm busy with schoolwork or hanging out and talking to friends. If I'm bored though, I first try to see if there's someone around I can IM/text but if not, I usually just listen to some music, doodle, watch something, play a game for a bit or read/write something. :]
     
    I easily get bored no matter where I am at, and when I am I get rid of it by either playing a game, message friends over Skype or call them, watch a movie or show, watch YT vids (Only gets rid of my boredom if I'm not home), or I just sleep.
     
    I have a strict routine. However, when it gets too boring... very seldom I'll try to do something I don't normally do in that routine. Reading a book is a good example. I get bored easily, even if I'm writing or playing a game. It's just some natural instinct or something I guess.
     
    I'm rarely bored and I honestly don't mind being bored. I look at boredom like a blessing, not many people in the world can say "you know what? I'm bored." When I am bored though, I usually pick up a video game or browse social media if there's truly nothing else to do.
     
    If I'm bored, I find some new topic to learn about (and then spend time researching it online) or try to brainstorm solutions to problems that have come up in my life, or I play a game, watch a movie, talk to a friend, or take a nap. Or just put up with the boredom, because it's an inevitable part of life.
     
    I find boredom to be a blessing actually. Whenever I am bored I always find myself much more inspired to make my life better and do something productive. Typically when I am faced with boredom I will clean my room, study, look for jobs, etc. At the very least I will play some Pokemon :3

    I tend to play games online, but lately haven't been in much of a mode for anything I have. I should look for some new free ones to play lol
    ...But then again, meh can't be bothered. haha
     
    When I'm really bored, I usually start up FL Studio and make something pointless. If I can't even be bothered to do that, I'll just watch random youtube videos until I figure something else out.
