It's just something that would be a good addition (and hey, it's a locke variant I'd approve of) and it just keeps cropping up. I mean, it might as well get made.

If anyone's up to it though, hopefully you know the read the rules/FAQ drill by now on making threads, haha.

So you want specific save files made for Egglockes? We have an Egglocke thread (I did one before on that thread) but of course, it hasn't been used in a while.

Whoever wants to make the files can use Metropolis/A-Save (Gens 2 and 3) and PokeGen (4-5), the latter being the easiest to work with.

Whoever runs it can do so how they want, but I'd recommend trading as well as save files. I've seen some asking for trades and others asking for saves in the various Egglocke threads I've deleted. It depends on the game they're playing, though since only XY can trade now, I imagine more people want save files.

Congrats Necrum! Honestly, I don't think there is anyone who did not seen this coming! I know you'll take great care of Challenges (:
Also, I think it may be the bold that makes you look fat, not the blue.

At least it will only be in here and not every single forum...the woes of my life. And accidentally clicking "edit user profile" is annoying too.

Bringing Challenges back to representation in this year's Get Together. In the past it's been really hard to justify in the short time frame, but I had some ideas a while back on how to make it work better than running a traditional challenge.

It's gonna be post-game, so all of you with emulators should set aside a save file from a beaten challenge just in case it makes it into GT (there's always the chance it won't, though I'm hopeful) and people with carts make sure you have a game that is post game, which most of you probably do.

What's the status on this? I didn't see it listed in the... list... thingy.
 
Yeah, I was wondering if a thread on that will be made.

Also, this will only work on games that have upgraded Elite Four teams, right? Not ones that don't (like the Hoenn games and XY)? Because as far as stuff from past challenges go that I still have saves on, I have three - Fire Red, Soul Silver and White 2, haha. I don't suppose I can use files that have normal plays?

Right now only GT events that require pre registration are showing. My thread will be up on July 6th, like most other events.

Any game can be used. Hoenn games and XY included. They just have to have beaten the game's story.
 
awh. my Ranger's challenge thread is at it's deathbed again. sadface.

anywho, just got my Platinum run done for the GT challenge, woot! Let's get this party started! I'm guessing we'd all be breeding new teams and such.
 
Happy 4th, CI&D! Have we any new Challenges in the works (Looks like no)? I just realized I've been doing the same Nuzlocke for two weeks and I'm not even half-done! If there is a new event like Necrum says, I'll do it probably.
 
The GT event will be up Sunday. :) And challenges have been showing up pretty slowly this week. I haven't seen any waiting for approval in at least two or three days, I think. I guess it's because people are enjoying vacations, plus it's a holiday here in the US today. And then the GT event is coming up. And another after that. There's plenty going on in line of events. Y'all are gonna love'em. :)
