Not related to the new chapter, but I wonder why Erza's the strongest (or at least was) of Team Natsu. It wasn't because she struggled her whole life - by that logic, Grey should've been just as strong/stronger, 'cause his back story was just as horrific. Just, y'know, random thoughts

Good question, it could be because she trained harder? Or maybe it's her natural ability?

Well that's the thing...everybody in Fairy Tail trained hard. And with natural ability, I'm sorry, but dragon powers > natural ability. Especially when you compare Natsu's fighting style to Erza's. Like, she's focused and conservative with her attacks, but he's a huge juggernaut.

I'm late lol, I just got back from camping. This newest chapter was sick, I can't wait to see Invel's limits, and since he was able to freeze Natsu and make Gray feel cold, that's pretty OP for sure. Also I can't wait for some Erza x Eileen stuff, maybe we'll get that next week.

Well that's the thing...everybody in Fairy Tail trained hard. And with natural ability, I'm sorry, but dragon powers > natural ability. Especially when you compare Natsu's fighting style to Erza's. Like, she's focused and conservative with her attacks, but he's a huge juggernaut.

I think that is somewhat the point though. Erza has such control over her magic and combat that its clear she's put in a ton of training - Natsu might be picking fights with everyone but its never really shown him to practise anything. Erza is calm and collected whereas Natsu (and most of the others) just dive in with all they've got.

@Invel Did we need more Ice wizards? :c don't we have enough.

Wow, this new chapter was incredible! It's interesting now that Gray has potential to become full darkness, because then he could be way more powerful than even Zeref. Also something big is bound to happen at chapter 500, since every 100 mark is a big event (400 was Igneel vs Acnologia).

My possible predictions:
-END awakening
-Zeref vs Natsu/END
-Eileen steals Fairy Heart for herself and betrays Zeref
-Acnologia returns
-Major death of some sort
-Gray becoming full darkness
-Gray vs END

I absolutely can't wait for next week and the week after, it's gonna be amazing.

Ice wizard can inexplicately make an unbreakable chain that forces two people to fight to the death. Despite one of them being Gray who could counter the other spells thrown.

Meh. Feel like this arc is dragging now. Eileen, Brandish and Zeref are the only interesting enemies.

Omfg, this week's chapter...idk whether I want Juvia to stay dead or come back...Ouch. Well on a happier note, at least Gray is gonna go full darkness and become OP now. Also we have chapter 500 next, so maybe END?

Otherwise I really love Gray so the chapter itself was good, I'm excited to see his crazed state now that he's 'lost' Juvia. And him saying he would take her feelings more seriously if she stays alive was cute cute. Since we know she'll be brought back to life anyway (haha) he'll have to honor those words.

I mean... Juvia's water? So I can imagine her coming back in some other watery form, then eventually they're going to forget about that and make her a real person again.

I can't imagine Fairy Tail not having a happy ending, since they've gone back on death a few times already :x

I'm angry af that Juvia came back AFTER ONE F***ING CHAPTER (idk if people care if I swear on here, so I'm just being careful). But hey, at least we have END vs Gray! I'm hoping Gray unlocks some crazy power soon, because if this chapter's Gray rage was his full darkness form then I'm not gonna be too happy. I predict Natsu vs Dimaria as well, because it seems like she's pissed about Brandish sparing Natsu and his pals. Of course Natsu is gonna intervene, because Brandish is probably not good enough to beat Dimaria. If Natsu somehow can't compete with Dimaria, I could see Zeref stepping in to stop Dimaria because I'm assuming he wants Natsu alive so he can fight him OR use him to kill Acnologia in case Eileen betrays Zeref (which I can definitely see at this point). Speaking of Acnologia, I wonder where he is... *cough* next chapter *cough*

Btw, Aisu, I love your Emilia profile pic! I just started watching Re:Zero and I love it so much! I'm close to catching up, I'm at the start of the 3rd arc (I heard some crazy stuff goes down in this arc, so I'm hyped).

I think the next chapter will be focused maybe on Dimaria's feelings for Brandish? Or maybe their past? I just hope Gray doesn't freak on us and kill Frosch like Rogue said.

DAYUM, DIMARIA! I already was kinda crushing on Dimaria a little, but she's so savage now that I can't not like her. I'm not sure about the translations you guys read, but Dimaria called Lucy a bitch in the last line of my translated chapter, and I was like dayum. That's all I can say about this chapter, just dayum. I have to admit, Dimaria is such a threat I'd say she's probably nearly as threatening as August and Eileen due to her OP time hax. I know there's gonna be some other sketchy technicality that'll let Natsu or someone else beat her, but still you have to admit her power is super broken. Tbh I never really liked Brandish that much except for some of the weird stuff she did at the beginning of the arc that was kinda funny, but I do feel bad for Lucy because I know she wanted to save her. I REALLY can't wait to see what happens next in "Zera and Mavis", that sounds like it could be another incredible chapter. Since Lucy actually somewhat put up a fight this chapter and Dimaria showed some more badassery, I'd give it a 10/10, no doubt.
