Same here. It's hard to find people in other places at times that aren't just worried about post count or kissing Moderator butt all the time. Stiff forums are the absolute worst

Forum-wise, I used to go on loads of forums at a time but nowadays I usually only have time for PC. I'm also on EGC and Serebii, although I'm more of a lurking member there now than a few years ago. It's probably PC's friendly but social memberbase that has helped me stick around.

I only go to Serebii when I need info on the games I play, mostly for the pokedexes because I trust them. Other than that, the only forum I ever go to now is PC. I do tend to hang around another forum, but it's never as much as I do here. It's a writing site, and they have a set of forums and stuff. I usually only go to their forums when I need help with something. Other than that, PC is really the only forum I frequent the most on.

I visit Serebii only for news, haha. They update their site every day, whether they have any new things to report or not, and I really appreciate that. Might not take much time, but they do put effort in.

I only visit Serebii when I see a headline that I don't believe and I want to check if it was a bad rumour or actual news. That only happens maybe once or twice a year. :P

I work for Pokejungle, so I usually find out about news and rumours when they happen. During game announcements, betas and previews, it wasn't uncommon for me to be sitting on 2chan.

Only other place I would trust is Shellspider and Serebii, although Joe's translation isn't always correct.

I just go to Bulbapedia for dex stuff. For pokemon news, I get my stuff off twitter accounts I follow

I like to visit Serebii for Pokemon news and Bulbapedia for more detailed Pokemon stuff. Been doing both frequently since the late 2000's, in fact Black/White became the first Pokemon games I actively followed the news leading up to its release, and the same held true for Black 2/White 2 and X/Y. I'm sure you can expect me trying to look up the news whenever the next games are announced.

I mainly rely on twitter feeds for my news of any kind. It's the quickest way info gets to me nowadays

What is a Serebii? Can you eat that?

No but seriously I never heard of it xD

I don't think you would wanna. It might give you a stomach ache.
It's another pokemon news/forum, if I'm not mistaken

To me, Bulba's news seem a little more descriptive than Serebii's on most occasion, but don't really go there for those stuff; visit Bulbagarden only for their encyclopedia. d:

When it comes to Pokemon related news, I tend to check Serebii and Bulbapedia. For non Pokemon related news, I would check other sites. For example, for Mass Effect related things, I would check the BioWare Blog. One interesting article there was about how the Batarians continue to be the Butt Monkeys of the galaxy.

Basically this. Serebii has been the first to do coverage on every game since DP. I usually turn to them for my Pokémon news related updates.

And while Bulbapedia does tend to go in-depth, only people in charge can edit Serebii, while anyone can edit Bulbapedia, which is why I usually find Serebii more reliable. I do check them both as far as what Pokémon can utilize and such goes.

However, one thing I do question is that for Pokéarth, when they would list trainers in locations from the DS era (Sinnoh, HGSS and Unova) they'd have their moves listed, but they don't have that for Kalos. I also wonder if they'll ever get around to listing percentages for wild Pokémon...

I like BP because of the editing ability, and it's more open in terms of pictures and stuff - serebii is sometimes wonky for me too. BP also has wild Pokemon % for everything except Kalos, which is useful to know, although Kalos is going to be tough to know that exactly since the game code is not accessible yet.

I really don't have a preference in where I get Pokemon news from. I go to either website. xD I have both of them bookmarked.

Although Bulbapedia needs to be updated with the XY sprites imo :x

Also shameless advertising supporter randbats tourney is accepting 2 more peeps to complete the bracket go join etc. :33

No sprites though, only models, and I dunno what the staff is planning to do with those.

Yes, go sign up for that tourney. Also, I hope we can play another round of Mafia.

Either Bulba or Serebi is fine for me when it comes to know. Serebii seems to post news first though. I prefer Bulbapedia for info or when I need to look up stuff for the game. I don't like Serebi organizes their info though.

The last mafia was my first and it was fun cause of the gifs. XD
