Harry Potter doesn't interest me. Fansasy and fiction in general aren't my cup of tea.

And Harry Potter and the Deadly and the Deadly Hallows Part 1 was pretty good. My dad likes the movies more then I do though. Maybe if you watched previous ones you would?
 
I killed all the MLP.

Not going to lie, I was sad after the book series was finished publishing and now the movies is even a worse blow v_v

Sir you should receive an award for this valiant feat. I wasn't really invested in HP but I can image how it felt since I felt the same way after Return of the King was over and Revenge of the Sith.

Haven't really seen Star Wars, steered away from it as a kid, but after meeting an obsessed fan of it, who soon became a friend, I guess I'll give it a shot.
 
When it comes to Harry Potter though, I've seen all the movies, but I just don't get it. I've been looking up all the plots and synopses of the movies, most particularly the Order of the Phoenix and Half Blood Prince, since I didn't understand those ones the most. I've seen Order of the Phoenix a few times as well, and still don't get it. :/ But Deathly Hallows I did understand barely.

I've never seen star wars, shoot me
 
Basically...the books are even better than the movies, to be quite honest. The plot gets really good in words, and live-action just kills it.
 
Hurr, hopefully I don't bring the conversation to a screeching halt... but, does anyone know the font used in the logo on the PokéCommunity Black/White styles?

I daresay you'd be best off searching Deviant or something similar for the Pokemon Black/White font, because that's what it appears to be. Not a fan of it personally. :P

And wow, another forum I used just raised $22,000 for a member's family to help deal with his daughter's cancer. Just goes to show what forums can do. :D

That certainly is amazing.
It's crazy, yet so very warming to think that such a sum of money could be raised for somebody who you have never met, or at least a majority hasn't met.

True, but like behind the internet you are fairly safe from judgement and so far removed from any immediacy that I guess it might be easier not to donate or something. I don't know, but yeah. :P

They just posted a notice on the front page and spread the word. It helps that the average age of the forum is about 23-24 and you get a lot of people with good incomes, but still. It's also a very big forum. There's usually 4 times as many registered members logged in as PC and it's still an Australia/New Zealand only forum.

I also think there's a sense of pride that the community gets from showing off such financial brute force.

Going skiing tomorrow. :D
 
I'm gonna go ahead and revive this convo. I miss seeing activity here.

So, it's August and for some of us, Summer is coming to a close end. (Yeah, bummer, right?) School is coming. I'm more than excited, because it's my final semester. ^_^ though there are a few things I need to achieve, which makes things a bit stressful.

So, anyone excited for another school year/semester ahead?
 
Excited for school? Oh hell no. Haha, too much work up ahead. ACT practice, AP courses, college courses, driving practice, volunteering and then I need to make room in my schedule to have a life, but somethings telling me it won't fit :/

I'm coming up to my senior assessment week in a few weeks with final year exams coming after that. On top of that I have all my internal assignments due all over the place, my art is due in two weeks and need to get sooo much done...

But summer is coming soon for me and I can't wait for that
