I'm glad that I have a full time job. I am a construction worker, we're building... railroad tracks. The point is, this is a delegation - you have accomodation, dinners provided by the company, you live and work in an other place than the city where the company is. Pros: more money, because working on delegation gives you daily bonus, also we tend to work on weekends - more bonus. Salaries aren't really high, but they are more than enough for me to live alone easily. I usualy am in my house every 2 weeks, that is a minus. I have permanent agreement. In August there will be 2 years since I started working there. I have to admit, this is my first job ever and I had to face the hard choices. Of course I was, and I am in need of money, so I had to become independent quickly.
 
I'm doing okay. I'm resting for the weekend but its raining in Talladega where the next nascar race will take place for :( but overall, i feel fine! No need to worry about my final final exam till Thursday.

Normally I'm at my dad's house on the weekends, so I would usually agree with this.

But this weekend I was kind of forced to stay at my mom's, and I can't seem to sleep any later than eight without feeling crappier waking up than when I went to bed. .-.
 
Since you're working at noon, maybe staying up till 3 wouldn't be too bad. As long as you have your alarm set to 10 am or so just in case you sleep late.

Its almost midnight here...and I didn't take my pill yet, although I have to be up at 7 am tomorrow morning.
 
I wish I had some sleeping pills. I havent been able to sleep anywhere but my couch for over a week.

I try to stay away from sleeping pills, my sleep schedule is way too all over the place thanks to work and them giving me the worst schedule on the planet u_u Lots of hours, but I'll close till 11pm and have to be back at work at 6 am to open. Over and over and over.
 
I end my work too late everyday to take a nap, so I usually try to get asleep faster... Well I have to get up at 5:40 everyday, so...
 
Aaaah, good job! I need to take a lesson from you, and try to land some job interviews. XD Gotta fix my car first, though.
 
^same here, I'm gonna try to land an interview or two sometime since I have loads of free time that I have no idea what I'm gonna be doing with it. xD I'm more likely going to San Diego, but that also depends on my little sister.

This has been dead for days so a little bumpity-bump.

I wish you good luck on the next chapter of your working life Derk, and since the summer holidays are coming up (winter for some of us) is there anything you guys are planning to do?
 
This place is so active that I THINK I'M GOING TO CRY.

Just to break the silence:
Over this weekend, my niece and I have watched over forty episodes of Glee. First time I've really watched the show. I love it and now I need to make a theme for it. >.>;

I don't think that Comic Sans should be used professionally (I've seen it happen. lmao), but it doesn't really bother me otherwise? It's just text. XD
 
I can read Comic Sans pretty well, but I love the fonts PC has anyway cos they look more professional. I love Droid Sans right now cos it's the font I'm using on my profile although I have used Arial and Verdana in the past.
