I'm a pretty bad example at keeping a certain forumset up for a long time, I change mine like almost all the time it's insane. It's like, one minute I may be a Pikachu, the next I might be a troll from Homestuck or anything.

This was one of my banners somewhere recently..........
 
I switch themes maybe once a year but I almost always go back to the Sho theme around Christmas time because I have a matching avatar with a Santa hat.

...and then for the first half of the new year I stick with Sho because you can never go wrong with Sho.
 
^ I've always liked that Sho signature. Never change it. -w-/twewy bias

I sorta do something like you, around Christmas I usually showcase a special theme for that but I always have to at least change to my iconic Oshawott themes because it's what I'm heavily associated with and he's my mascot Pokemon after all.

You can never go wrong with Oshawott if you know me alright. Showcasing your fave Pokemon is always a good thing, but as for my profile I probably won't change it anytime soon since the colorless stuff suits me a lot according to what Shiny Celebi told me on EGC today.
 
As much as I don't change my signature I never change my profile. <_< I've changed it twice in my entire PC history. I just don't have the patience for it and I probably won't change it again, haha.
 
I love designing profiles, it just takes so much time, and like you I usually don't bother with it.

I should change mine, it's so friggin boring. I've never really had anything flashy, I think I had a brown sorta background for quite some time... years back. Then I think it was pink/blue for a while? And now blue blue. I'll just... Uh... One day maybe change it. To something. Dunno.
 
I'm more of a "slap a gif and boom you have a signature". I make CSS signatures whenever I have the patience and the time for it. xD

Or I re-use old themes.
 
I'll probably have this theme for like two days and it'll be gone, haha. I was confident the Ledo theme would be sticking around, but look where that's ended up.

Hahaha you change your themes way too often man. I'm almost just as bad lol, cos as someone said to me in a VM, I do have a big sense of creativity!
 
I don't see why it matters how often someone changes their themes. xD Some people get too many ideas and wanna use them all, and some don't care and use the same theme for two years. lmao
