Writing is a very creative skill as well, definitely. And it seems like you definitely got it Bellandy :P
Im not sure if my writing can be considered creative or not. I just joined a few RPs though, so maybe it will improve over time

As for myself, I love drawing. I love writing. I love singing. I'd love it if I had the ability to produce music which I sadly don't right now. But I'll work on it. One of my life's goals is to produce a short, maybe 25 minute, anime special with art, music, vocals in songs, voicework, story - everything - by me. This sounds ridiculous, I know, but Makoto Shinkai has shon with his 'Voices of a distant star' that one person can do a lot if he's dedicated enough. :D
 
I'm a decent enough artist, though I'm way out of practice. XD

Thanks :$ it was a 2,000 word essay on aquaculture. It took forever to write because damn if I knew anything about aquaculture lol!

Dante, that's super cute :D I like that old manga style.

elheroeoscuru (the obscured / shadow hero?), MM is my favourite LoZ. Definitely awesome art, too :)

And although Darmanitan is far from my favourite Pokemon, that sketch looks pretty good, too, Timbjerr.

Did you at least get paid for that writing entry? I know you wanted to test yourself but hell, I would have tried to get a little something extra out of it xD

Nope, he's my sweetpea :) and already it was bad to do anyway.

That said, I did make him buy me chocolate after :$ that could be "payment"? 7$ in chocolate! Yummy.

rofl I love chocolate :$ was like, a handful from the dollar store <3!

And I love writing essays. They're fun, though tedious when you don't know anything about the topic (like in this case) lol but I'll be taking similar courses in university, so it was good practice for my own Geography degree.

Have you thought of writing on PC at all? I find that it does a good job honing your skills as a writer, at least that's what I've found out by writing in my blog each day.

I did before, but I've been so busy :( planning for school, working (five days a week consume almost 10.5h of time with travel per day), travelling frequently to a different city 2h away to visit my boyfriend + chores + random things.

I love writing. I wrote on PC back when Astinus(?) was around. I don't think he's here anymore from what I can see... I see he's now an SMOD lol but I don't think I'd be interesting in writing Pokemon fanfics. It's interesting in concept. Theoretically I could make my own story thrown in Kanto or somewhere else. It just doesn't feel fulfilling because it isn't 100% creative. It feels like a FIFA remake sold at 69,99$ to attract poor saps.

Just makes me sad :( so I avoid it, and I'm brainstorming anyway for a revamp of one of my books I wrote at thirteen. No time for sidequests! :P

As for blog, I'm almost at 50 entries, but I'm off and on on PC. I'm a bit of a shadow.

Why not post some of your own stories in the Writing section, anyway? It doesn't have to be fanfiction, and its a great way to get critical help with your writing, storytelling, and the like.

...Or you could always join us in the Roleplay Corner. That's where I do my writing, it's great for challenging me to create characters, stories, and scenarios to base those characters around or to react to. Plus, it's just great fun, and the people are great, too (in fact, the close-knit community is part of what makes the RPC so great). As for original stories, I don't post mine online, I just have a notebook...a few of them, that I write my ideas in. Heck, the whole reason I got into roleplaying is because I wanted to be a game developer and, to do so, I had to sharpen my writing skills and make characters in much the same way.

...Though I do sometimes run into the problem where I'll write out the story for a game without the gameplay concepts thought out and come to find that the idea sounds more like a show or a book than a game :/

I fully, 100%, support this idea! It better not have to be fan fiction, or else my story is completely out of place! D:
 
I tried posting stuff in the writing section, but people aren't interested in what I write. So, I haven't posted there in a really long time. A lot of my stories about things that most people don't quite understand very well. I guess that should be expected from a pokemon forum though. *shrug*

It's a problem I'm trying to fix. We don't have very vocal readers, but people do read. What did you write about? I got a some good comments on my short story, and it's not really something I would expect a lot of people to comment on.
 
I can't remember now. I think my first story I posted here had something to do with an autistic girl. It's not really something I want to post on PC a lot though, but that's all I usually write about is stuff about disabilities. :/
