I write instead of drawing. Prefer words to images, when it comes to expressing myself. That's not saying I can't appreciate a good piece of artwork!
I like writing as well, but there are times when I want to see what I write come to life. Technically, it does that just by being posted or even existing, but there's always been a part of me that's wanted to illustrate (or even animate) some things that I write.

^that's...literally all I can draw. xD

I've done some writing as well...but I'm afraid to show my work. I did one story for a contest here and that's all.

I can't draw either, though people say I can... I think they are pure liars :P

My writing isn't that great either, but I did it more often than drawing tbh.

I love writing..it's like moving to another world that exists somewhere beyond the soul :3 <3

I like to make dot value art, where essentially you take a fine point sharpie and make the entire picture out of dots. Takes a really long time, but the finished project always make me feel accomplished. Here's a picture of my Goku that I made a little while ago :]

In case you can't tell considering which section I moderate, but I love to write! There's just something about creating a new world and having the characters come to life and interact with each other to create a story that people might actually find entertaining that's really awesome.

I also like helping people with their writing. It's extremely hard to come out and share your writing. I sweat every time I post some work of mine, and I mod the place! But, it's a necessary step if you really want to improve. If it makes you guys feel any better about posting your work, I don't tolerate any insults of any kind, and there has yet to be one, so it's not that bad!

I tried drawing a while ago. I improved a lot, but just stopped for some reason. I would like to get back into it, but finals week is approaching fast, so maybe after that.

@Elheroeoscuro
Holy crap!

Spoiler:

Wow that Goku looks great, really!! I dont know if i would have the patience to accomplish that!
Wait, i know i dont have the patience to accomplish that :(

Hehe thanks everyone :3

That picture of Goku does look great, but...how do you have the patience for that O_O

I can't imagine how much time that must take.

The main thing for myself when I make these dot values is I don't really set myself a deadline for what I make. When I'm in the mood I'll usually just throw some music in the background and get cracking on it. There's no way I could do it in one sitting, when I get bored I just leave it to the side and work on it another day. But looking at it now, it probably took around 4-7 hours to make xD

Also, if anyone has any recommendations on what I should make next, feel free to let me know! :D I love making these so maybe I'll showcase a bunch of them in my blog coming up, who knows :3

Well, i think if you set yourself a deadline you'd go crazy, seriously xD and it wouldnt look all that great, since you would have to rush

Well, tbh 4-7 hours doesnt even sound like that much for how great it looks :P

If you are into Dragonball, maybe another character of the series?? A villain, like Cell?

I don't exactly know how long it took me to make, that was more of just an estimate; I'll give a more accurate answer to the next one I make :] Just the regions where it's completely dark like the hair is a pain in the arse to make, as you are literally monotonously hitting the same region over and over and over again. But yeah I can totally do Cell at some point, just going to take a little bit of time to make obviously d:

Aw ok, that was actually ment as a compliment what i said about the 4-7 hours.
I can imagine, cant be easy to keep hitting the same place an endless number of times.
Sweet, ill definitely be looking forward to it!

I actually drew this a while ago, just wanted to share :3

Spoiler:

Why do i feel like the only one who cant draw around here :(
And im pretty sure thats a new event Pokemon for X/Y, not some pineapple thingy! :P

I used to be able to draw, but I never followed up on it.

That said, I can definitely write. I got a few rewards in primary and secondary school related to writing, and achieved top marks in my classes, esp. those requiring essays i.e. History, English, French.

I even submitted something to a university on my significant other's behalf. It was a fourth-year environmental course, and it came back as 94%, so I'm pretty confident about my skills going into first-year university.

And I know how bad that sounds, but I was super curious :P and it was the perfect opportunity to test my skills on the down-low.
