Weekend plans, guys? :D

Not any as far as I'm aware... I still haven't even thought about what to get for Christmas, but I know Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire are a certainty. Maybe I might watch some Christmas movies this weekend to get into the spirit!

To be quite honest I didn't want to tell my family what I wanted for Christmas. There are some things I actually *want* but then I was like "you know what, I could just...buy it myself!".

I was at Wal-Mart today looking for gift ideas, but didn't really think of much. I too could probably buy most of these things, but if i'm never gonna touch them then that's not something I want to burn money on. I have considered asking for maybe a Wii U or a tablet different from an iPad, but I don't know how much use i'd get out of them...

Nothing much, attending the company Christmas part this afternoon >_>

Then spend the rest of the weekend at home not getting dressed or leaving the apartment in general. (hopefully)

Not much. D: Well, actually... or our dog has a doctor's appointment on Sunday. We also have to get our Christmas dinner as well. *shrug* Other than that though, nothing too special.

Most likely thing I am going to do this weekend is set up and decorate the Christmas tree. It makes sense since Christmas is now less than a week away.

We put ours up on the first of December, then we usually take it down on Christmas afternoon or evening... depending on how tired my mom is of seeing the tree being up. lol

Oh, didn't catch that post up there. Anyway, i'll be going to a party tonight at the house of our close folks, then my bro is coming home tomorrow. I have today and tomorrow off of work, then i'm gonna get pounded for the next half-week before Christmas...

I'm so excited for Christmas though. Did anyone else notice how fast it came this year though? Or was it just me? Usually it goes really slow for me. I didn't even realize how close it was until my rl friend mentioned it was about a week away, and I'm like "o****rly". XD

I think Christmas did come too fast this year, but maybe it's just because I get so heavily distracted here in all the chit-chat that also moves very fast. But I enjoy PC because of the fast-paced chit-chatting anyway.

I think I was also distracted by other things. I'm just glad I'm not the only one. It seems like maybe I'm just not into the Christmas spirit like I used to be. *shrug*

Christmas is going to be really different for me this year. My parents, my sisters, and I would always spend Christmas with my grandmother, and all of my mom's side of the family would get-together and chill. She passed away this year, and it's going to be the first time that I'll be staying home instead of spending it in someone else's house. We were used to making so much food, but instead of buying a giant ham, we bought a small one. And we're making less tamales as well. ;;

That sucks. :( We also have been getting a different Christmas since we moved here as well. Without snow, it doesn't quite feel like Christmas. Plus, we used to go to see my grandmother on my mom's side with some family as well when I was younger. The problem is that my grandmother would always get me these stupid little gifts I'd never use, and yet she'd get the cool stuff for my older cousins. She doesn't really send gifts anymore though, just cards.

I remember two years ago when I think it snowed on Christmas Eve, and we had a lot of people over to our house for that very occasion. My nana (from my mom's side of the family) has always been with us on Christmas and then we would go to our grandparents' house (from my dad's side) to visit our aunts and uncles, and cousins. They would have some nice food with them too, but our feasts don't change much throughout the year. But we will be having a lot of fish for the visitors we'll be having Christmas Eve.
