6th Gen Confirmed Information Discussion

The word scoop makes it sound like it'll be more than one or a big Mega like a legend. Wait...what if it's Mega Latias and Mega Latios official confirmation?
Or maybe something like Megas for the Johto starters. Or maybe Megas for the E4's aces.

Diancie got Magic Bounce...so another one...poor HA Espeon and Mega Absol aren't as special anymore.
 
Since we are getting the mega scoop next Corocoro, I'm seeing Mega Milotic, Mega Flygon, Mega Jynx, Mega Dusknoir, Mega Glalie, Mega Froslass, Mega Roserade being in the roster.
 
Mega Roserade? That may happen but what makes you think it'll get a Mega evolution? It's not the possible ace (one could argue for the Snorunt evos as Glacia will has Glalie and likely will get Froslass. While Jynx is rumored) for any gym leader or E4. Sure Wally has Roselia, yay he may get Roserade, but his ace is Gardevoir.

Maybe if it's not the Latis it'll be Camerupt and Sharpedo along with Mega Milotic (for Wallace) and Megas for the E4's aces.

Btw everyone noted the release date? It's the 12th of next month, meaning we probably will get as early a leak as last month's release, if not sooner :3. Yay no waiting 31 days for that one. But the September issue will likely feel far in time like this issue did (at least for me).

Japan probably got one at the beginning of Movie 17 like all movies before games do, so that's probably gonna be it. Or maybe not, considering how XY's took weeks to get posted online.

This so much. I was so bummed that we didn't get anything like that for X and Y. I think it should be a staple among new Pokémon games. Heck, they did an anime trailer for Mystery Dungeon for christ sake.
 
Yeah, I'm pretty sure rematches will be added as they did with HGSS. The Hoenn Elite Four have Pokémon in their mid 40s, so that's a little low to keep them at that permanently. As for new Mega Evolutions, I only really want to see Mega Shiftry, Ludicolo, Milotic, Flygon and possibly Camerupt and Sharpedo.
 
I think I'm very slow, but omg I just realized that the pikachus in the CoroCoro leak each represent a contest class.
 
Have you noticed (like way back in Gen III or since then) that each contest color interestingly fits with the first four games, except for cuteness, which is pink. Now Pokémon's original mascot was supposed to be Clefairy which is pink and cute...

Next issue may leak on the 8th if as early as the first leaked page for this one. That means possibly 28 days until next leaks. I'm anticipating the scoop. It could be the official reveal of the Mega Latis though.
 
Ahhh, I'd love for another anime trailer ;-; The one for BW2 made me wish there was an anime adaptation of the games, haha; it was really well-done!

The Mega scoop could also be providing more information on the already revealed Megas, though I doubt that'll be the case. I'm certainly hoping that they reveal the Latis, and maybe some other Megas as well!

Yeah, I do admit it's so hard to tell the two apart when they're in their Mega forms. Let's hope OR/AS can fix those up and maybe color them just like their non-Megas' colors. They need more things to tell their differences apart, looking at name and gender just isn't enough like you said.
 
Mega shiftry would be great. Nuzleaf was the first ever shiny I encountered so I feel a bond with him and you know what goes with bonds;)
 
It's also funny that Hoenn was where I found my very first shiny in the games. It was a Duskull which I have to admit I wasn't expecting when I ran into her (it's a female) but I did feel proud for catching such a treasured, rare Pokemon.

I'd imagine that if I ran into one in the remakes I'd feel like my childhood is coming back to me.
 
The current CoroCoro revealed 5 Gym Leaders, 2 Elite Four members, and 1 Champion.

What if the next CoroCoro reveals another 5 Gym Leaders (Winona, Tate, Liza, Wallace, and Juan(!)), 2 Elite Four members, and 1 Champion (Wallace(?!)) and 1 Rival (Wally)?

They revealed Steven to be the Champion pretty early, so if they're planning to have a post-game switch-up I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to reveal that early, too. Maybe they won't say anything about "Wallace as post-game Champion," but I think it's interesting that they decided to show 5 Gym Leaders this issue and not 4.

2 Elite Fours now and 2 later makes sense, since it's split half-and-half.

Tate & Liza would have made the 8 uneven anyways, so if they wanted to split the Gym Leaders 50-50 they could have just revealed the first 4 instead of 5 (that's what I would have done, at least).

Regardless of whether Wallace returns as a Champion or not, I'm sure Juan will make an appearance, and I think that's part of the reason why CoroCoro revealed 5 Gym Leaders instead of 4--either that, or they arbitrarily picked to show 5 now and 4 later, but what can I say, I like to read into these kinds of things!

And they did show us Birch this time, so I hope we get to see Wally soon, too!
 
Mega Shiftry seems very plausible now, with Sidney's Ace Pokémon changing is a good indication as to why this might have happened. Mega Shiftry would most likely come along with Mega Ludicolo too!

I guess Wallace could still be the champion of one of the two. Maybe Omega Ruby so AlphaSapphire won't be so much about water with an evil water team, a water gym leader, and a water champion, along with a water mascot...
