Whoa. Anyone see the black page with screenshot of Steven on it? It also shows a double battle against, correct me if I'm wrong idk the new models, ARCHIE AND MAXIE
At the bottom page, it shows a Pokéball with a ? Mark inside, does anyone know what it says beside it?

Woah. Just saw that myself! Definitely looks like either a double battle with Archie and Maxie or just showing the two different battles screens in respective versions. Need to have a proper look at those new scans when I get home though.

I'm not sure. I've never read the manga, but yeah, it does confirm a change in the story.

Looks like the Ruby/Sapphire storyline has had some sort of shake up and perhaps a slight incorporation of the Emerald storyline? I guess we'll find out soonnnnn.

I wonder if we get to encounter Team Magma/Aqua more often in the games, there seems to be a lot of focus around them particularly the Admins.

Some seem to only have one Pokémon and show up in areas that they didn't previously.

I noticed that too and really hope so. One of my favorite parts of games is extra interaction with the villainous teams and if Aqua/Magma appear more it just adds on to the story making for a better experience. Please let this happen

Well if Serebii is right they last so long as the Primals remain in battle. So it sounds like Weather versions of Air Lock (except Air Lock lacks a boost and the blocking of a type), as Air Lock doesn't last 5 moves.

My golly Desolate Land and Primordial Sea are looking overpowered. Immunity to Water and Fire moves respectively? Kinda wondering how that will play out competitively, but I think Groudon may benefit from this because it only gets a sole weakness to Ground.

Their weather effect is infinite until they switch out for your information.

Groudon will benefit immensely. It's going to really be difficult to deal with in battle, but since it ends after a switch I don't think it changed Groudon's viability too much.

Yes! Their abilities just became even more intense. Interesting to see how this will turn out in the meta-game though, will certainly shake things up now.

I have a feeling that Rayquaza's Primal will have an ability that will cancel out electric attacks or get an ability that will give it Stab electric attacks without it needing to be part electric. It'll fit with Rayquaza as in Emerald's opening it's surrounded by lightning.

I wonder what its ability would be, since it can't really have a weather-inducing one since there isn't really a weather to math it. I guess it could have a weather-cancelling one again, but don't the heavy rain / strong sunlight end when the Primals switch out?

Well now that Rayquaza has been introduced into the mix, I'm starting to wonder whether we will get snippets of Emerald in the game. On the ORAS official Pokemon website, for Rayquaza it reads "A Pokémon said to have lived in the ozone layer for hundreds of millions of years, it looks like a shooting star as it flies through the night sky. According to legend, when Groudon and Kyogre clash, Rayquaza descends to the planet's surface."
So could this mean that we'll see the fight between Groudon and Kyogre with the cutscene of Rayquaza splitting them up?
